Trying to get better about creating things just for the sake of creating and not being super critical over whether I think it’s good or not bc frankly I think we should create more “bad” art & not everything needs to be praised or admired by others to be enjoyed by you!

This little doodle on procreate is inspired by one of my favorite poems— The Orange by Wendy Cope! *I switched the “I” to “you” on accident but honestly I like it better this way* <3 if you’re reading this, I’m glad you exist

At lunchtime I bought a huge orange - The size of it made us all laugh.
I peeled it and shared it with Robert and Dave - They got quarters and I had a half.
And that orange, it made me so happy,
As ordinary things often do
Just lately. The shopping. A walk in the park.
This is peace and contentment. It’s new.
The rest of the day was quite easy.
I did all the jobs on my list And enjoyed them and had some time over.
I love you. I’m glad I exist. by @aves_haven
