Each Sunrise and each Sunset is created by God Himself. Rejoice in each one.

As hunters, we have slow hunts. Hunts where the weather isn’t what we wanted, the birds didn’t react the way we wanted, our shooting wasn’t up to par and the list goes on. But the next day, it may be a banger where everything is perfect. The weather, the calling, the birds reaction and our shooting. Every hunt is a new hunt.

The same is true about our lives. Each day we have on this earth is a day to rejoice! Every day isn’t going to be exactly what you want. We may receive bad news. You lost your job, got a bad doctor’s report, lost a loved one and the list goes on. Every day won’t be perfect, but there will be another sunrise. And that next day you could get a call about a better job offering, the doctor calls with a miracle, and you find out that the loved one you lost gave their life to God just before passing and they’ll spend eternity in Heaven.

There will always be ups and down in our lives on earth. Rejoice, because that next sunrise could change your life for the better! by @aves_hunting

*Tip of the Week
When it comes to goose hunting, a bigger spread isn’t always better. Focus on a realistic, natural-looking setup that gives incoming birds a clear place to land. Pay attention to wind direction, landing zones, and how geese naturally feed and group together. A few well-placed decoys can be more effective than a crowded field with no clear landing pocket. by @aves_hunting

•The Art of Scouting• Scouting is an essential part of the hunt. It’s the work that happens long before success. It’s the process of us going out to find what we’re looking for. It sounds simple. But you have to understand the birds to understand where they’ll be, where they will be going next, and why.

What you are looking for is what you’ll see. This is the same in scouting and in life! If it’s negativity that you’re expecting, you’ll find it. If it’s excuses or solutions, good news or bad, thankfulness or being ungrateful, greediness or generosity; whatever it is you’re looking for you’ll either see or become.

Treat your life like a bird scouting trip. Always looking for the good. Expecting to see the positive. Understanding that there will be unexpected moments, but always focusing on what’s going right. by @aves_hunting

Each year when a new season comes around we all hear those guys that didn’t put any work in complain about their hunts. And then we hear about how successful others are that actually worked for it in the off season.

It takes work and year round commitment. The same is true about our Christian lives. It has to be a year round commitment. by @aves_hunting
