This is what resilience WITH GOD looks like 🎓
- Spent 1 1/2 years majoring in Physical Therapy.
- Lost my job 2018.
- Got kicked out of college the end of 2018.
- Switched to P.E 2nd year of college in 2019.
- 2 car accidents, 2018 & 2021.
- Surgery on my lower back in 2021.
- Suffered from hair loss due to Covid & anemia, so I cut it all off in 2021.
- Lost use of my car the end of 2022 until 2024.
- Took a semester off bc I had no car, & lost a lot of $, relationship, credit, etc.
- Found out I have PCOS in 2024.
- Surgery to remove an organ in 2025.
- 2019 to 2025 appointment after appointment, biopsy after biopsy, working full time, going to school full time, losing a lot and getting it all back again.

I prevailed by the grace of God. Even during those times I strayed away from him, he was never too far from me. God put me in this profession for a reason, to instill patience in me. He wrote my journey the way he did to teach me about perseverance. He helped me execute to comprehend that everything is possible with him. This flawed yet perfectly curated journey, I’m honored to walk through it with him. Each year I’ve lost a lot, but I never lost sight of him, no matter how near or far I felt like he was, he was always there. Beyond grateful for all the mishaps, everything that happened made me stronger & softer in the ways I needed most. #ThankyouGod #Qcalumni #NYC #BigGrad by @avethe.wave
