Putting together a compilation is a curious process.

It's rarely about finding the best individual tracks. It's about finding the right connections between them.

At Aviary, we've always believed in giving our artists the freedom to follow their own creative instincts. Not telling them exactly what to make, but trusting them to create something that's genuinely theirs.

Because sometimes, the most interesting music comes from giving people the space to surprise you.

With the Botanica Series, we've been exploring exactly that. Different artists, different approaches, each bringing something of their own, but hopefully creating one shared feeling.

Maybe that's what makes a compilation interesting. Finding unity without asking everyone to sound the same. 🌹 by @aviarybridgerecords

Some things take a little longer to find their way. 🌹

With Late Bloomer, Luca Sil reminds us that growth doesn't always happen at the pace we expect. And sometimes, the things that take the longest to unfold turn out to be the most beautiful.

A lovely addition to Goddess of Flowers, the second chapter of our Botanica Series.

🌹 Luca Sil – Late Bloomer
Out now on Aviary Bridge Records.

Every release has a story behind it. 🌹

With Goddess of Flowers, that story started with the Rose. Its symbolism shaped the theme, the artwork and eventually the world surrounding the music.

From the first photograph to the final artwork. From individual singles to one collection. And from individual artists to something we could never have created alone.

This is a little look behind the scenes of Goddess of Flowers, the second chapter of The Botanica Series.

Today the next flower 🌹 blooms.

Inner Knowing by LeVirya is built around atmospheric pads, a repeating piano note submerged in reverb and a small guitar motif that drifts in and out of the track.

The Botanica Series continues 🍃🌹

Earlier this year, Queen of the Forest introduced the first chapter of our Botanica Series, inspired by mythology and symbolism of the Beech tree.

Now, a new chapter has begun.

Goddess of Flowers turns to the rose, bringing together a new collection of artists, music and stories within the same growing series.

New singles every week, leading up to the complete album on November 27.

Welcome to chapter II

One of the nicest parts of putting a compilation together is the moment it stops feeling like a collection of tracks.

There’s usually no exact point where it happens.

But slowly, a sound starts to emerge. A mood. A little world of its own.

We’re somewhere around that point right now. 🌿

Harvey and I have a deal, for every million streams that Stardust hits, we eat tompouce. Just hit 6m 😋 I still remember making this track late at night with the deadline the next day and last minute asked the homie @tomasdonsaxophone to replace my sax and add a slick solo ❤️ I also remember arranging all the small stars in the collage artwork and sequencing them for the Spotify CANVAS. Took me a while to make it work in a free animation program 😅 #amateur #hiphop #chill #saxophone #latenight @aviarybridgerecords by @aviarybridgerecords

Maybe that's why I still believe in quiet records.
They don't tell you what to think.
They simply leave room for it.

SNZFST - Cloud Drifter / 2nd release under my new SNZFST moniker. Apart from the drums (separate kicks/hats/snares) all the other stuff are live instruments in combination with a huge stack of guitar pedals. Enjoy! @aviarybridgerecords @applemusic @spotifyforartists #downtempo #slow #guitarpedals #beats #ambient by @aviarybridgerecords

We often celebrate the day a record is released. But sometimes the real relationship with an album starts long after release day.

This one has been quietly finding its way back to me over the past year.

Maybe you have a record like that too? Leave it in the comments.
