POSTS STORIES REELS

RENT closed tonight and my heart couldn’t be more full. Full transparency I was against doing another production of this show for many reasons, but this has made me realize that this is a show I will always say yes to. The amazing cast and the amazing crew have made this show so special. It’s only fitting that doing RENT the first time was the reason I came to Macewan and it is also my first show ever at Macewan.

Thank you to all my Renters ❤️ i will cherish you all. Viva La Vie Boheme. Always choose love ❤️

Happy World Theatre Day

It has been almost two years of theatre school and making the life changing choice to pursue my dreams and passions and I haven’t regretted it at all. This industry and this life means more to me than anything I’ve ever pursued and I’m constantly blessed to be in it.

To all of the costumes I’ve sweat through, through the countless lines I’ve memorized, to all the notes I sang and the dances I’ve learned ….. to all the friends and the community that I have made along the way. I owe my life and my heart to all of it ❤️ by @avila.johnf

Ive never shared a dance reel because honestly it’s been something that Ive been very self conscious about. Ive always considered myself as a strong mover and thats it ….. but I was recently taught that dance cant be an accessory to an actor and it has to be part of the whole package. So heres to hoping I can continue to grow and learn and become better !!!

Thank you @juliofuentes for being an inspiration and teaching an awesome class! @theupgradesessions by @avila.johnf

WELCOME TO THE BACK ALLEY 💘

“Another man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
A hidden alley community.
A boy between two worlds searching for his mother.

And yes… it was all improvised.
