AI agents sound complicated. They really aren’t.

At the core, an agent is basically:

LLM + Tools/Functions + Memory + Trigger

The model decides what to do.
Functions let it take action.
Memory keeps context.
A user, event, or schedule starts the loop.

Think → Act → Remember → Repeat.

That’s the foundation. Everything else is architecture.

It’s expensive because we often send every task to the biggest model.

File lookup. Email draft. Basic coding. Classification.
Most of that doesn’t need premium reasoning.

Route the easy work to smaller models.
Save GPT-6 and Astra for the hard stuff.
