I had an absolutely amazing time at Bet on Yourself with fellow Texan and soror, Tamron Hall. So much inspiration from all these ladies, and a very enjoyable evening. 🩷💚 by @avionelee

Honored to be the top seller at Patchouli Joe's Bookstore in Denton, TX!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Independent stores like these keep writers and the community thriving, and I am so happy for their support.

If you would like a copy of Pied, please consider purchasing it from Patchouli Joe's (they deliver everywhere) or another independent store. Thank you again Patchouli Joe's! @patchoulijoes 😊 by @avionelee

I think this counts as a Christmas miracle! Pied was one of the many lovely books Parnassus Bookstore picked for their Book Club and many of these books were shown on Hoda and Jenna on The Today’s show today! Parnassus Book Club has so many lovely books from picture books through adults and it is an honor to be one of the books shown. Thank you so much! 🥰🥳 @parnassusbooks @thatpiedbook @todayshow @hodaandjenna @madeleinemilburn by @avionelee

In lieu of a book launch, I took a girl's trip on the Rocky Mountaineer Train from Banff to Vancouver and brought my book along.

It was magical. One of our cabin hosts, Jelli, even introduced my book to everyone on the train (thanks to my girlie Michelle asking) and had me give a little speech. I was so put on the spot and embarrassed, but it was so worth it for all the lovely comments I got afterwards from people all around the world who were on the train with us. So I am counting this as my book launch!

Thank you, Rocky Mountaneer, for a wonderful girl's trip and impromptu book launch! I hope to ride with y'all again soon. 🥰 @rockymountaineer @thatpiedbook by @avionelee

Putting this in the things that only happen when on a deadline box. Two computer crashes in one week. 24 hours to get it up and running last time, hopefully it's the same this time? Crossing fingers!

Luckily my edits are saved in the cloud and we have a spare computer that we can get up and running so I can get them.

Sending a big thank you to DIY computer fixing videos on YouTube! by @avionelee

Blast from the past. The house is currently entranced by this one. We even have the soundtrack on repeat. Thanks, Peacock. 🦚🌑 by @avionelee
