"Airbus A340"

Airbus A340-600 is one of the longest passenger aircraft ever built.

Is 75.36 metres long – even longer than the Airbus A380.

Powered by 4 Rolls-Royce Trent 500 engines.
Maximum takeoff weight of approximately 380 tonnes.

Range of around 14,000 km.

Features an additional four-wheel centre landing gear.

Its engines use a unique three-shaft design.

First flight in 2001, entering commercial service in 2002, last Lufthansa flight is 18.10 2026.

It is a four-engine giant that has captured the hearts of aviation enthusiasts worldwide.

I am very glad that I worked for a company that performed maintenance on these beautiful aircraft.

"ASMR Slides"

Here is a direct comparison of the slides from the A320 and B737.

As you can see, the Boeing does not have an overwing slide instead, it uses fully extended flaps that allow you to reach the groundstan.

Airbus uses a door dumper that assists in opening armed doors.

"Multifunctional Runway Light"

In the Multifunctional Runway Light (MFRL), a set of LEDs are installed to cover the landing, runway, taxi and take off light function.

This upgrade saves roughly 12 kg of aircraft weight by cutting down on heavy motors, brackets, and wiring.

It removes external protruding assemblies and retractable doors to improve aerodynamics.
