Time to return to an energetic vibe!

“It Was a Dream” picks up where “One Day” left off, continuing the story with heartfelt lyrics and powerful vocal performances by Stephanie DePrez and Sascha Herrmann.

A huge thank you to ModernistMixing for their exceptional work in mixing, mastering, and production support, bringing this track to life.
Release date: 31.01.2025

I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed creating it! #avistortion #metal #symphonicmetalband @hagridindawood @steph.deprez @avistortion @modernistmixing by @avistortion

I’m excited to share this piece inspired by my love for classical music. Drawing from Matthew 5:3-12 (Sermon on the Mount), the song blends classical and symphonic metal with counterpoint melodies, orchestration, and an emotional journey through E major, a chromatic bridge, and a C#m outro.

I chose the German version of the text, which was both a challenge and a joy. I love the expressive nature of the German language.

Huge thanks to Stephanie DePrez for her stunning operatic vocals, Golsana Shenasaie for her beautiful cello performance, Modernist Studio for their incredible mix and mastering and Kasia Skrzypek for beautiful cover art.

I hope this song speaks to you, wherever you are on your journey. @steph.deprez @modernistmixing @golsana.cello #symphonicmetal #songwriter #metalband #avistortion #selig #thebeatitudes #bible #matthew #christian #jesus by @avistortion

The new single, featuring Stephanie’s vocals, will release on January 3, 2025. It serves as a prelude to the next single, coming on January 31. #avistortion #songwriter #symphonicmetal by @avistortion
