Man I love the opportunity to represent Minnesota on the national stage. What a great group of athletes and coaches to work with this year.

With eight underclassmen in the starting lineup at Junior Duals, the future is bright. Minnesota’s time for national titles is coming soon. 💪🏽🔥 by @avk155

Welp..this isn’t easy to type…
I wanted to share that I will be stepping down as the Head Coach of Shakopee High School’s wrestling team.

The past five years have meant everything to me. Being a part of this program has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and the relationships I’ve built here will stay with me forever. This place is special because of the people, and I’m beyond grateful to have been a part of it.

Five years.
Four state tournament appearances.
Four conference championships.
Two third-place finishes.
Two state runner-up finishes.

A pretty incredible run—made possible by an even more incredible group of athletes, coaches, and supporters.

“They’ll question the way I move. They’ll call me crazy. That’s fine. Crazy works when you believe.”

So proud of this team, so proud of the way these seniors finished. Memories made this week with never be forgotten.
