A crocodile glides effortlessly across the river in Cairns, Australia.I shot this scenic video handheld. It was a challenge to maintain the crocodile in proper frame as it swiftly moved through the water, requiring constant adjustment to keep it in focus and ensure a smooth shot. We found this leopard with little darker spots than most others, which helps it blend even better into the jungle. Even though it was in an open area and quite close to us, it was surprisingly difficult to spot until it moved. I filmed the entire nesting period of the Asian Paradise Flycatcher across different weather conditions, and here are some glimpses of those special moments. It is amazing to study how their behavior changes with different weather conditions and how intelligently they respond to challenges in their environment.During calm and sunny weather, they are active and graceful, flying swiftly through trees as they catch insects mid-air. However, their behavior shifts noticeably when the weather becomes harsh.In extreme wind or heavy rain, they become highly alert and protective. The parents stay close to their nest. They use their bodies to shield their chicks from strong winds and heavy rainfall, spreading their wings slightly to cover and protect the babies.
