❤︎︎ There is a softness that comes with feeling safe enough to be still. A kind of surrender, a quietness, a willingness to let the world soften around you. And then there is the power that comes from remembering you can protect yourself. The instinct beneath the softness. The part of you that knows when to stand, when to guard, when to fight. To be gentle without being defenseless. To be powerful without needing to be hard. To know you can protect yourself and still choose peace. Maybe the deepest kind of strength is having the ability to hold both. The softness that says I am safe here and the power that says I can keep myself safe if I need to.
