This is my Diwali gift alongside someone as senior as Ms. Pooja Hegde

I love that I was able to keep my two curly haired strands till the final look. Always jumping at the thought of authentic curly hair being embraced in the mainstream.
🥰

I pray that this festive season teaches us to really come together with each other, cuz thats what life is about at the end of the day.

POV - You know he likes you and you like that but you wont just show it yet 😏

It is difficult to focus on just being an actor and putting tour work out on social media when there’s so much violence all over the internet. Took me a few days before I was finally able to put it out here -

A self tape where the brief was that a guy who has a crush on you did something dramatic for you in front of everybody else, so you are here to thank him and show your appreciation but not fully acknowledge that you are aware of his feelings, so you show slight interest but otherwise keep the cool girl persona.

Had a little of fun shooting this. Also, “ kuch kandhey prr laga hai, hata deti hu “- is such a goated way to flirt with someone who you know is into you but you havent had ‘ the talk’ yet. 🥰

Also, how many of ya’ll remember Punch? 👀

May we all have a world so peaceful that we can have the mental and emotional bandwidth to have crushes 🩷

Recorded this a few days ago, based on a script I wrote with the aim of recreating the reality of a conversation that a lot of women experience these days, of course not all of them say these things out loud. My character in this ,Shaili, said these things out loud.

Had to have a co-actor for prompting, on call. I have written the lines of both these women with a lot of heart and they do represent two women on a spectrum of a similiar reality.

Makeup is marketed as an essential girlies, but I like it more when it is a choice that we go for because we deserve to be able to do what we want for our body.

Everybody is online so brands want to be online, so brands get to set the narrative and I am tired of beauty products not talking enough about women’s control over their own body and safety. so here is this (what some may call) wierd GRWM cuzz if we are going to have brands set narratives for us, lets have them come from a place of empowerment

The coming of Ganpati Bappa to this city is a phenomenon that can be studied to understand the depths and the expanses of the human spirit itself so I had to tell a story that captures of personal Bappa feels to people around.. and after toiling consistently for 3 days putting together everything from the storyboarding to the shooting and the editing, I am so glad that this captures something that depicts an experience thats so uniquely ours - talking to God just the way you’d do to a companion. Cuz thats how I have seen people and this city treat Bappa - a jigri dost you can coujt on for anything - so for this one Bappa becomes one of the girlies hehe..

This confrontation scene between Paro and Devdas is etched in my memory, primarily also because its the first time we see Paro holding her ground.
This scene when Devdas comes to meet Paro and take her just before her wedding is so dramatic in all the right ways. I dont have the SLB production but doesn’t mean i cant do his writing, right?

For Paro, i think its such a heart shattering moment to have been proposed to in such a unromantic way by the love of her life
