Having fun & getting comfy with being uncomfortable 💅💗📸

I seriously love my quarterly job with @kotcfights

I always try my best to deliver the best photos of your fight weekend, portraits, weigh ins, candids before the fight, walkouts. angles from two sides of the cage, and victory pics 💅💗📸

If you know me, you also know I do great gym session pics, for Muay Thai, MMA, Jiu Jitsu, etc.

This is me @toughgirlydesign, a fighter turned photographer 👊🏼💗📸

I missed being punched.

Definitely the motivation I needed to drop down in weight, crazy how you can perform when you’re not struggling with panic attacks.

Not the best performance, but overall the best I’ve felt competing, minimal nerves, being very conscious in the fight, great gas tank at this size, oddly didn’t panic while getting teep’d to death. No bad feelings losing, and I haven’t competed for years, so I feel like this was pretty awesome all things considered.

Overall a very fun experience.
I can’t wait to do this again but much lighter.

Thanks @atengan_photography for the awesome pics, it feels nice to be on the other side of the camera for once. 📸

I had my first match at @strikerscombat!

I lost, but that’s okay.

It was my first Muay Thai match in awhile since 2022

I stopped signing up for these because I don’t want to drive far away, cut a ton of weight or take time off work to maybe get an opponent. Same thing for jiu jitsu, it just sucks paying to get 1 opponent that might show up.

I cut 10lbs for this, and refueled very well, did my running leading up to it. So my cardio was great!

I am totally out of my weight class, I’m at 115lber.
I competed at 140lbs which I will not do again.
Luckily only my shoulders and arms are sore from the weekend, which is surprising because I got teeped to oblivion, and ate shots like usual.

Amazing things about this tournament!
It’s ran by @_brieta which is so awesome to see a woman owned tournament.

It was so organized, with amazing refs!
Mats are huge, and not hard as hell.
You’re matched up before the event so everyone has a match, and by experience level! :)

I seriously loved it, and highly recommend everyone take a trip to Cali to go experience it! 🔥

Also thank you to my opponent @sohaila.muradi.8!
She’s a killer, her team is so kind!
I love having solid opponents, it’s a blessing to be challenged. 🙏

I had so much fun, and was reminded why I love striking! 💗

Different jobs, but still in the cage.

But like I always mention.

I put a lot of love into my job, not just for me but for the fighters as well.

I love posters with current & REAL fighters that I’ve shot, we love seeing ourselves on there for the very excited & nerve racking time we spend in the cage.

I try to see ways I can keep elevating what I do, and it’s really awesome to see lots of fighters come back to Reno to compete, and I get lots of compliments about the media coverage on the event. Which is amazing to hear! 😱💗

If I could do this all day I would, it’s a blast 🫶🏽

Fingers crossed I can get back in there with y’all soon!

If you see me outside after a shoot be proud, because sometimes I’ll stay glued to the Mac book for days on end 🤣

But I’m so happy to be staying busy and finding a bunch of fun new stuff to shoot! 📸

As long as I’m clocked in on time, and running on power naps that’s all that matters!

It’s summer time, and it’s hot as hell outside, in the gym, in the car going to the gym. 🥵☀️🔥

So I’m trying to not smell like a pile of swamp ass, and you shouldn’t either 😤

I really like the unisex plant based deodorant from @gymati_body_spray and it held up great, I love patchouli, ylang-ylang, jasmine & cedar wood scents 🤩

I need to try the amber scent next😤💗

Use my code GABRIELLE25 at checkout

(Also I’m still concussed gang, so I’ll be back to sparring in three weeks 🤣)

Sorry Mom & Dad 🥺

But I am so happy to have an open schedule again, I can actually get a ton of training in, no more migraines, and I’m feeling the best I can be 🥹💗

Remember to always do things you love 🔥

I also love @northlane’s music like crazy right now 💗
