Our 1-Year Celebration of Blossoming Beauties went something like this… 💜🌸

From the wise words of our panelists to the impactful personal experiences shared by professionals including Port Authority officers, psychotherapists, and collegiate cheerleading coaches…every voice in the room inspired, empowered, and uplifted the next generation of young queens.

We laughed, learned, reflected, and reminded one another of the importance of confidence, resilience, sisterhood, and showing up for our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported our mission, and helped make this milestone so meaningful.

Here’s to one incredible year of Blossoming Beauties and many more to come. 💕✨

HUGE thank you to @yolandasloveorg for supporting us through this and always being a phone call away for your new nonprofit girlies 💕 we love youuu and forever grateful for your guidance.

an unexpected award presentation from the City of Newark to Mrs. Haygood 💕💕

they say off guards are the BEST!
#melanin 🤎

of course the girlies had to eat! 😋

our gifting table allowed each Beauty to select the menstrual products that best fit her individual needs and menstrual experience, ensuring everyone left with items that were most appropriate and helpful for them 💕💕

THIS FULL CIRCLE MOMENT HERE! Let me tell yall 🥹

this extraordinary woman, Charity Haygood had led me in ways I would not have imagined or knew that I needed. when I met her in SECOND grade as this little shy, straight faced young girl, the very first thing she instilled in my was that “Love is patient, love is kind, love is the best thing that I will find” and TODAY, i’ve been able to do what I LOVE, and that’s showing up for the babies and pourjng into them the same “love” she freely gave to me! A huge part of the person and educator I am today is because of HER.

im forever indebted to Mrs. Haygood and my heart is very HEAVY to find out my lovely mentor is taking another transition in life states away to enjoy her “graduation” from the education field ♥️

Mrs. Haygood, thank you for believing in me before I believed in myself. Thank you for LEADING with your heart and showing me what it truly means to love taken in Newark, New Jersey by @avonave_nps

In the words of global hip-hop artist @djkhaled…ANOTHER ONE!

Today we had the pleasure of hanging out with the family of our latest Kindergarten Signing.

Mom fell in love with the level of love and care given by our staff and the longevity and retention of our teachers here at Avon.

Na’ava, we can’t wait until you walk through the doors of your new school home. You will love it here, just as your dad did! by @avonave_nps
