Amara 🥹 I love you

First of all!! Thank you to all the friends who came out to support me for my first days in the clouds! I can’t even describe how wonderful it felt to look out during every show and see so many familiar smiling faces in the audience. And to all the folks who sent sweet supportive messages from afar! I was and am still so overwhelmed by the love 😭😭

This show is an absolute BEAST and challenged me in sooo many ways. I can’t lie after our first day of rehearsals, I was pretty terrified that I wouldn’t be able to do this or live up to everyone’s expectations. But we did the damn thing!! I could not be more thankful for all of my trainers, show direction, cast mates, sound techs, stagehands, friends and everyone else that guided and encouraged me throughout this whole process. The energy in those rehearsals was truly unmatched. So uplifting so supportive. I want to bottle it up and keep it forever.

As a thicc girly, I rarely submit for theme park roles because I know I’ll be overlooked for almost all of them even if I can absolutely eat them up. But this? I said f*ck it and submitted and worked my butt off bc I love this darn dang show so much. What an absolute blessing it was for show direction to see ME and what I can offer this show and every single person that visits the clouds. Short thicc latinas can do it all too! We can sing and act and dance at the same time okay!

Harvey 🥹 Y’all ever trained into your dream show with your bestie?? 272918/10 would recommend!! Having you with me from Day 1 was just the best. The love, support, goofiness, safety and stability you give to me on the daily as a friend was exactly what I needed during this process. My Amara would be nothing without your Zayne. You know :) You’re welcome for making you submit 🙂‍↕️

Can’t wait to do this show forever pls and thank you :)
