•Hiding In Plain Sight•

This series is for all of us.
They represent the joy we cannot seem to feel when going through a hard time, and our inner critic takes over.
Our brains cannot be grateful and anxious at the same time, so when anxiety takes hold, look for gratitude. Because joy… she’s always hiding in plain sight. We just need to feel her ✨

A little perspective:

This is a tough industry, and not every artist wants to do the same as other artists.
We all share one thing though: we tell stories with images and different materials.
Not every artist it’s going to appeal to you, or your style, and that’s okay. Just show support. Celebrate and encourage artists, especially in this fucked up world.
Most of us have day jobs. We’re seen as regular people, but I deeply believe that we’re not. We see and feel the world differently, and that’s why we invest in our art on our free time. See the value in that. The commitment. The love. The passion.

Support your artist friends. It means the world to us. You don’t have to buy one of our pieces to share it with others. Like and share our work. Repost it. It takes a lot of time and energy to be in this game.

In a world where a lot is so sad and painful, art can redirect hearts to joy and love.

Much love,
Alex W.

It’s my favorite day of the year!
It’s my wife’s birthday! 🎉
•
My sweet girl,
Words will never be enough to express how much I love you, so I will spend the rest of my life showing you.
Thank you for this extraordinary life we built together every day.
You’re a force of nature, kind, incredibly talented and intelligent, honest, fun and admirable. I admire you every single day, and every single day I am in awe of how ridiculously lucky I am to share life with you 🤍
Thank you for existing!
Happiest birthday, love of my life ✨

This one taught me more patience than any other piece I’ve ever made. Embroidery on canvas with hot glue gun, it’s no joke.
Excited to be back and to show you what I’ve been up to! 👀
Stay tuned…

• A Team•

A piece inspired by my friends, colleagues, art teachers, after so much work over the last few months putting our school together.
Today, we are finally open and start teaching some cool art to our kiddos!

Introducing: Aqua 💙🩵💚
•
Inspired by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, the reflection of the sunlight that clashes with the greens and blues creating a dance that feels calming and warm to the heart.
