“the only thing to “get” from life is the wisdom that comes from experiencing it.” life lately. experiencing it. savoring the moments i am given. really truly learning the value of myself as a human being and what i have to offer the world. really truly starting to see that life only gives us what we give to it. maybe if we can learn to give all of ourselves, or at least more, then life will give us back more than we can dream of. and im not talking about stuff. or things. im talking about perspective. contentment. connection. fulfillment with what we are given. so that we may find heaven right where we are. not always feeling like it’s “somewhere else.” the future never comes. and the more i learn to truly meet life in the present, the more it reveals it’s secrets and it’s true beauty. even in the ugliness. im learning. im growing. im savoring the journey. and it’s a gift. heart full.

we don’t know ourselves if we don’t know others. we don’t know others if we don’t know ourselves. there is so much love to share. it’s worth fighting for. it’s always better when we are together. despite a lot of darkness in the world i pray you and i can keep aiming at the sun. “all evil vanishes from life for he who keeps the sun in his heart.” ☀️ 🖤 may your life be an expression of gratitude. may the gift reveal itself in quiet moments to you. i don’t think we have to search for what we think we need. i think life will bring it all when we are ready. it’s just my job to give myself fully to life. and keep learning what that means along the way. give yourself grace, you are doing fine. 🖤 by @awakeinthedreamm

The thing about the joys are they keep me hanging on. I know life isn’t going to be full of them all the time. But my goal is to remain open so that when these moments occur I can receive them fully. The trick for me is to learn to let them go, in hopes they’ll stay with me also.

There is so much to find in this life. Don’t have to look very hard to find the darkness these days. Really hurts sometimes. But it makes these moments of light and color carry so much more weight for me. it's not all bad, it's not all bad at all.

Let the beautiful moments be the fuel to push on… may they come with us where we go 🙏 by @awakeinthedreamm

The happy sad feeling… the hunger to discover more life and more adventure, while knowing you’ll never see it all. You’ll never be able to carry it all. It seems in the end one of the biggest things we can hope is to carry with us, all that has changed us along the way. And also to let it go at the same time. Because we have to.

I think it’s the way of the artist to let life truly affect them to the core. No matter how much awe you find in this life; no matter how much beauty you discover, the most you can hope is it will change you a little bit in the end. So you can reflect that into the world around you… so that you can bring a little bit more of that beauty into this life.

Keep reaching for the sun.. keep laying on the earth, keep making contact with things that are real. Keep seeking out things that are genuine. The most important relationship is the one with yourself .. start where you are. This world needs you by @awakeinthedreamm

Message to me:

You’re doing just fine.. don’t put so much weight on yourself! The world can hold its own weight. I know you care so much and you wish you could take people’s pain away, and fix everything you think is wrong, but all the world really needs from you is to show up. All the world really needs is for you to get right within, only then can you live from a place where you have all your goodness to offer. Being upset and angry at the world is justified but it will never solve your problems. You’re doing fine. Give yourself some grace and know that.

You have the power to be the change you truly wish to see in this world. Sometimes you feel like it’s so lonely here, in this western society where everyone is chasing their own dreams and stories. You feel like an island, like the world is racing all around you but you’re not sure where to go. The message is to start here. Be where you are as fully as you can. Don’t worry so much about others. That pain you feel of disconnect in this world.. it’s justified and it’s valid. But that smile you just offered someone, that warmth you give them with your hello, you really don’t know how much you affect the world. You never know how much your welcoming spirit truly makes an impact on someone else.

You’ve always had the power. It’s time to stop focusing on what you think is missing from life and focus on working with where you are. You bring beauty into this world just by being here. You don’t know how loved you are. It’s time to realize you ARE love. And that’s our only hope in this world. You have enough. You are enough. You have what you need. Don’t ever feel guilty for wanting more from life. We are living in an artificial world in every sense and the only natural response from our humanity is to feel that. It comes out in so many ways.. just gotta remember its a natural response, the upset, the anxiety, depression, those are signs that your system is trying to make sense of a world that’s nonsense.. it’s not that there’s something wrong with you. The longing you feel for more, like there has to be more to life, like you want to feel more alive than you do daily, like there’s a world out there, it’s real and it matters to feel those things. We don’t have to accept the world we were given, but we can make the most of it to the best we can.. keep dreaming and know that the change is within you, and the change is you. The way you feel matters and the world you know is possible, hold onto that. Carry that with you cause we need it. 💪 by @awakeinthedreamm

I vow to endeavor to treat every moment as a gift. I vow to make life worth it. Starting to see that life has the meaning I give to it. It’s a powerful feeling and realization, knowing you hold the key to the lock you have been bothered by. It’s quite a ride being in this world but we gotta squeeze the nectar out of every moment we can. At least that’s my thought. It’s all passing so quickly. I’m learning to let go while learning to hang on to what matters. Learning to make my way thru the noise, seeing the silence always held answers. Im tired of letting the world decide how I will feel. Im ready to take my power back by @awakeinthedreamm

I’m trying to put more life into these days.. as time speeds up, every moment becomes more and more special. As the sand keeps passing thru the glass, it’s harder to get a grip on things, I’m trying to learn to have faith. I’m trying to stop worrying about what anyone else thinks and just do what I feel is right. Im trying to drink the nectar of life and not let it pass me by. Im trying to be an example for others, we can laugh and be ourselves. We can stop overthinking life and just embrace it for the journey it is. Im trying to dance while the music is playing and enjoy the tears that flow when the sun is setting, im trying to drink in all the beauty I can and face head on the rest of it. This life is worth it by @awakeinthedreamm

If life is made of small moments like these, you’re never alone even when it seems… the world tries to hand you its darkness but it’s really just reminding you of your own light, you always had the choice, the freedom and the right, to write your own path, and to go your own way… little did you know how much things would change when you finally stopped trying to stay the same.

The beauty in this life is what’s worth fighting for, and it’s time you remember you are the source, we can focus on what’s wrong all day but only we can be the change, and I know it’s hard and I know it hurts, but we’re all we’ve got and I’ll use these words, I’ll use this heart and I’ll use this mind to use my god given right, to create and remind, to love and be loved, and put myself out there because that’s what love does.

There’s the peaks and the valleys and the times in between, there’s the toiling and the spinning wheels, forgetting what it means, but if you have a few friends you can call family, and you can walk bare feet in the sand by the sea, things were never as bad as they seemed. All you needed to do was open up to what was here and make the most of what was in front of you. One day you’ll see and you’ll be so glad you did.
