Meet my favorite new model. 🤍 Spent some time with this little one and I’m still smiling over how these turned out. So honored I got to capture these moments for @artfullyallshouse .

I started photographing spiders to get over my fear of them. Somewhere along the way, fear turned into fascination.

Check out the Joro spider: a golden-yellow beauty whose webs can span a porch. She travels by “ballooning,” releasing silk to catch the wind and drift on the breeze. The longer I spent photographing them, the more I appreciated how remarkable they are.

There’s something special about a suit made for one person. Every measurement, every fabric choice, every stitch is a decision. I got to see how the process works at @tomjamesclothing with @styled.by.scott and photograph the results with @ajsingley.

One of my favorite shoots from this year — the latest issue of @towncarolina magazine is out now, and this shoot with @healthyishdani at @scoundrel.gvl is one I keep coming back to. A great model, an incredible location, and (I’ll say it) a pretty talented photographer make for great photos. Swipe through for the story, plus a little peek behind the scenes. Go grab a copy of the issue! by @awalker.studio

Cover story 🎨 So thrilled to have shot this cover for @athome.magazine, out this week — featuring the incredible work of local painter @melmiddletonart . atHome doesn’t usually put anything but homes on the cover, so this one felt extra special to get to shoot. Swipe through for the full set, including a cameo from Mel’s sweet dog Chanel toward the end 🐾

Shooting at Patterson Kitchen was a treat — one of the most beautiful spots I’ve photographed, mountains all around, the space just as striking. But honestly, the food stole the show. Chef Bear’s upscale takes on Southern classics feel like the work of someone who just really gets food. by @awalker.studio

Chef Austyn McGroaty, cooking up something good for game day at the Fluor Field ⚾️🔥 Got to shoot this one field-side (a dream), but wow — that heat was no joke. Worth every sweaty second for these shots. by @awalker.studio

Okay, this shoot might be my favorite of the year so far. Great light in a super cool space. Recipe by the talented @bethbrownables — perfect for a pool day, light and summery and exactly what you want on hand when the plan is sitting by the water all afternoon. See the fully designed spread in the current issue of @towncarolina, out now by @awalker.studio

I love an action shot. A pour, a seasoning, a sauce — or in this case, billowing smoke off a cocktail. Brought this one to life for TOWN’s musical cocktails feature, and the spread looks just as good 😉 Look for it in the June issue. by @awalker.studio
