How much we spent for two people travelling Slovenia for ten days (in AUD) ⬇️⬇️⬇️

This was our first stop of our big European adventure! While we fully appreciate this could definitely have been done cheaper we were pretty happy with our spend once it was broken down.

We hired a nice Mercedes to drive around the whole time, tried so many sweets and chocolates, went out a bit for traditional food (burek… say no more🤤) and did some great big activities exploring two caves… we think we did alright. Here’s the breakdown-

🧳Accommodation- $1042.85
🚙Transport (Car Hire)- $719.01
🎭Activities- $447.06
🍪Groceries- $284.01
⛽️Petrol- $205.00
🍔Restaurants- $203.33
🍺Drinks- $119.61
🅿️Parking- $45.00
🤑Total= $3070.37 or $307.03 per day between the two of us.

Or should I say… PARRIED now that our last name is Parry! 💓😝

Wow, this was the most amazing day ever that will stay very close in our hearts forever! We are sooooo grateful for all our our beautiful family and friends that travelled from near and far to make our destination wedding a few hours south of our home a night to remember🥹

Is this the best way to spot wombats in the wild? 💚

Cradle Mountain in Tasmania, although known for its beautiful hikes and mountain views, is also home to these cute little guys!

Getting off at the Ronny Creek Stop on the bus that takes you from the main visitor carpark into Cradle Mountain park itself is the best way to do it! There will be wombats surrounding the boardwalks in every direction you look! We easily saw about 20 of them just in this tiny stretch of the park.

Even if you can’t hike or are short on time, all of these wombats are located near the bus stop along the beginning of the walks- so it’s flat 🤩
