It’s taken me 11 years of playing this game to realise that winter golf SUCKS. 😫 Not only that but trying to improve your game in the cold, wet conditions can really destroy your motivation. In the off season I like to spend more time on technique, ironing out any poor habits or movements before focusing on developing skills like carry numbers, shot shapes and flights. 🏌️‍♂️ I have been testing the Uneekor Eye Mini and it’s been a great addition to my practice. It gives you a wide variety of data points both club & ball, which means I can work both skill acquisition and technique. It has also recently integrated with the Awesome Golf software which means I can play courses, challenges and test my game in the competitions they run. I’m ready to tackle winter golf…. Who’s with me ??? #golf #golflessons #progolf #golfersofinstagram #golfswing by @awesomegolfing
“Just a few swings” turns into a full hour pretty quick when you’re using @awesomegolfing with the @uneekor EYE MINI Closest to the pin + shot analysis helped me get a better feel for my distances with the new irons. The setup is easy, and the EYE MINI’s two high-speed cameras give me accurate feedback right in the backyard. Been finding a lot more time for practice lately 😉 #ad #awesomegolf #golfsim #homegolfsimulator #golfpractice by @awesomegolfing
Did you know this?? Expectations can have a huge impact on your scores and for your enjoyment of the game. Managing them can be key in your ability to remain calm, present and accepting of mistakes or bad outcomes. If you’re finding yourself feeling stuck or like you’re not getting anywhere just remind yourself that golf is hard, only 1% of people achieve a scratch handicap or better in the UK. From experience, these people are those who love the game, the grind of working it out and the journey of improvement. They understand that it won’t happen overnight but they are willing to look at the bigger picture. Take the small steps again and again and again until eventually they find themselves unlocking a new level. If you’re one of those people, great! If not, that’s fine too. Golf is a game of imperfections, enjoy it for what it is! #golf #golfswing #golfersofinstagram #golfer #practice by @awesomegolfing
