🎶✨ 31st Annual Westport Rock, Rhythm & Blues Raises Over $30,000 for A Wish Come True! 💛

What an incredible 31st year! Westport Rock, Rhythm & Blues raised more than $30,000 to help grant magical wishes for children like Paetyn!

Paetyn’s wish is coming true! ✨ She is headed to Walt Disney World with her family to meet some of her favorite characters, experience the magic of Disney, and enjoy special time together away from appointments and treatments.

Frank and Wendy, and every wonderful volunteer who pours their heart into this event year after year, thank you!!! For 31 years, you have continued to show up for A Wish Come True and our wish families. Your time, hard work, love, and dedication have helped grant magical wishes and change countless lives. We are beyond thankful to have you as part of the A Wish Come True family. 💛

✨ Brooke’s Wish Come True ✨

Brooke loves to bake, so when it came time to choose her Magical Wish, she dreamed of an unforgettable baking experience. What followed was something her entire family will never forget. 💛

It all started with our wonderful partners at Insperity. After a lunch with Jen from Insperity, where she shared some delicious Milk Bar cookies with our team, a special connection began. That connection eventually led us to Christina Tosi, founder of Milk Bar and renowned baker from MasterChef.

Christina and the Milk Bar team welcomed Brooke to New York City for an incredible baking experience! Brooke got to step into the world of Milk Bar, bake alongside the team, and even create her very own menu item for the Milk Bar store. For a young baker, it was a dream come true! 🍪🧁

But Brooke’s Magical Wish kept getting bigger!

Brooke had also shared that she wanted to visit LEGOLAND, and the team there treated her to an amazing VIP experience. Then came another huge surprise. MrBeast reached out and wanted to sponsor Brooke’s Wish as part of his Wishes campaign! One of the MrBeast hosts even joined Brooke and her family at Milk Bar during her baking experience. 💛

This trip was extra special because Brooke and her siblings had never been to New York City before. Together, they stayed in Times Square, visited the top of the Empire State Building, explored the city, and even tackled an escape room, one of their favorite things to do together as a family!

From baking at Milk Bar to LEGOLAND, Times Square, the Empire State Building, and so many surprises along the way, Brooke’s Wish gave her family the chance to experience something completely new together.

Brooke was especially excited to have MrBeast sponsor her Wish, and her entire family is incredibly grateful for every person and partner who helped bring this experience together.

Our 2nd annual Pamper with Purpose night was so special! The smiles at the end say it all. 🥹🥹

It was a such beautiful night for these very deserving parents, whose kids are fighting courageous battles 💙

We teamed up with @awishcometrueinc & @lyzakinghair @myhairstylistmeg @calmingtidesmassage & @donovanrt30 at the Varnum Armory and created a night of pampering for wish moms followed by a night out with their partners.

To our amazing vendors & that donated their goods & time we are SO grateful 🙏🙏🙏

✨ When Jayla shared with her mom that she wanted to celebrate her 16th birthday with a party surrounded by her friends and family, our wonderful friends at Mack’s Original Pizza Pub stepped in to give her the Sweet 16 celebration she had hoped for. ✨

A huge thank you to the Cerrone Family and especially Katie Cerrone, who took the time to plan all the special details and was even there to celebrate alongside Jayla and her family. From delicious food to time spent with the people she loves, it was a special night celebrating an important milestone.

Jayla’s mom shared:
“Thank you so much for this. I will never forget that day because I didn’t know how to face my child on her special day, but A Wish Come True did the unexpected for me. I will forever be grateful.”

This is what Embracing Families is all about. Being there for the children and families we support beyond the wish and giving them opportunities to celebrate and create special memories together.

At our Ripples of Love Gala, we shared a very important part of what A Wish Come True means to our families. 💛

A wish brings joy, hope and memories to a child facing a life-threatening illness. But our support does not end when the wish is granted.

Through our Embracing Families programs, we are there before, during and long after the wish, providing support and resources when families need them most.

In this video, Frank and Colleen Duffy share the story of their daughter, Meghan, and how their love for her created a ripple that continues to help local wish families today through the Meghan K. Duffy Hardship Fund.

You’ll also hear directly from two wish moms about what this support has meant for their families during some of their hardest moments.

This is what Embracing Families is all about. Granting the wish is only part of our story. We become a community families can continue to turn to, creating moments of joy, connection and support along the way. 💛

✨ A record-breaking $725,000 raised at our Ripples of Love Gala! ✨

Nearly 500 people filled the room for our 2026 Ripples of Love Gala Presented by Massey & Associates to celebrate A Wish Come True and two very special people, Frank and Colleen Duffy, recipients of our 2026 Lifetime Impact Award.

Throughout the night, we shared the story of Frank and Colleen, their daughter Meghan, and the incredible ripple of love their family has created through A Wish Come True.

We shared how Frank and Colleen turned the love they have for their daughter, Meghan, into years of helping children and families. We shared the impact of the Meghan K. Duffy Hardship Fund and our Embracing Families programs, including powerful words directly from wish parents who have received that support.

And we shared something incredibly special. Meghan’s own wish was officially granted as A Wish Come True’s 1,930th wish. Her wish was to create a stuffed animal that could bring comfort to sick children. Today, that wish lives on through Duffy Duck, carrying Meghan’s love to another generation of children.

The night was also filled with moments we will never forget, including Wish Mom Diana Rodrigues joining Billy Gilman to sing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” surrounded by our wish kids and siblings.

To everyone who helped us reach an incredible $725,000, thank you. And to Frank and Colleen, thank you for sharing Meghan with all of us and for allowing her ripple of love to continue through A Wish Come True. 💛
