๐•ป๐–Š๐–“ ๐•ป๐–†๐–‘ By @jtgeissingerauthor โ˜… โ˜… โ˜… โ˜… โ˜… 5 stars, no notes, absolute perfection ๐Ÿ–ค This was a fast paced paranormal romance with spice ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ I didnโ€™t know I needed a book exactly like this until I finished this. This was incredible! I thought this would be a pretty standard dark romance. Like a super simple plot and heavy on the spice (I love those, donโ€™t get me wrong). But this turned out to be one of the most interesting, haunting, exciting books Iโ€™ve read! This is definitely in my top 5 fave books of all time because of how unexpected it was & how much I LOVED it! I actually restarted the audiobook immediately after finishing because I needed another listen! Add it to your tbr if it isnโ€™t already on there! She is releasing banger after banger. The lineup of 5 star reads I have from her now is insane! This book felt so comforting and warm. Definitely like a Y2K romcom Iโ€™d rewatch over and over again. Lucie & Aiden stole my heart & havenโ€™t given it back. Their love story was quiet yet all encompassing. Aiden learning to be vulnerable & trusting. Lu letting her guard down and letting someone else in. A masterpiece. Perfection! Absolutely adored this one! ๐•ฌ๐–‘๐–ˆ๐–๐–Š๐–’๐–Ž๐–˜๐–Š๐–‰ ๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ› โˆž โ˜… The book thatโ€™s consumed my life for the past week and a half ๐Ÿ’ญ This book destroyed me. It was so beautiful & tragic and I couldnโ€™t put it down. This is one of those haunting books you read once but they stay with you forever. She is a thickkk book but once I got to 90% I was actually so scared to finish. I wanted to read 1000 more pages. I was not ready to leave this world and was not ready for it to be finished. This is a 6 star read for me! Although I donโ€™t know that Iโ€™d recommend it to everyone. I recommend everyone do their research into this one before starting and check the trigger warnings too! ๐•ผ๐–š๐–Ž๐–ˆ๐–๐–˜๐–Ž๐–‘๐–›๐–Š๐–— By @calliehartauthor โ˜† โ˜† โ˜† โ˜† โ˜† With Brimstone being on my 2026 TBR I thought Iโ€™d better get to posting about one of my fave reads from last year! Quicksilver was such a fantastic book, I absolutely adored it! Iโ€™ve seen some mixed opinions on booktok about this one, people either loving it or hating it but iโ€™ve loved it since I picked it up back in March last year! Kingfisher was the most perfectly grumpy, brooding fae male I love to read about. Saeris was a strong fmc who didnโ€™t get walked all over. We met one of my new favourite book animal companions Onyx ๐ŸฆŠ and also we had hilarious side characters like Carrion making for such a fun Romantasy story with heart! This was overall such a fun and engaging story! I would reread in a heartbeat. I canโ€™t wait to dive into book 2 ๐Ÿ“–โœจ Q. Have you read this one? Bonus Q. Do you like the indie cover with the Kingfisher art or do you like the newer released cover for the book? Iโ€™m such a sucker for character art so I love this cover!
