✨What a gift 42 has been. Not because it was easy, but because it changed me. This year asked more of me than I ever expected, but it also gave me more than I could have imagined.

This is 41! It feels great to embrace gratitude and wisdom each year as I get older. This is a very different birthday this year away from my family, for the first time, but surrounded by sisterhood and beautiful scenery. I realize that ALL of it is necessary! Making sure to make time for YOURSELF, your friendships, as well as family. Balance is key! I have never taken this much time away for myself since becoming a mom over the past 18 years, and have never felt more peaceful and excited to come home to my babies completely refreshed❤️✨ taken in Sète, France by @awwbee__

✨Happy 14th birthday to my babygirl Maliya 🥹💕 I seriously don’t know how you’re 14 already. You are the most loving, caring, smart and thoughtful girl and you have this way of always knowing how to brighten my day. You just get me in a way that not everybody does, and I honestly don’t know what I would do without you. You make me laugh, work my nerves 😂 and make me so proud all at the same time. ✨Lately I’ve been feeling a level of gratitude I can’t even fully put into words. It’s more than a feeling, it’s growth. The kind that changes how you move through life. Even with everything feeling so crazy at times, I still find myself deeply grateful, and that shift alone feels powerful. Actively practicing that I can choose my state of mind, no matter what’s happening around me, has been life changing. ✨There’s nothing in this world I’m more proud of than being their mom. I thank God everyday for them. Through every season, every challenge, every lesson… these kids have been my reason to keep growing, healing, and showing up stronger.

What we’ve built together is deeper than I can even explain. The love, the closeness, the laughter, the honesty, it all means everything to me.

Happy 18th Birthday!! Anaiya Rose, the very essence of who you are has me beaming with pride to be your mother. When you were in my belly, there were times I couldn’t sleep at night wondering what you were going to be like. Your beauty, intelligence, creativity, wittiness and maturity exceeded my imagination. I knew you were going to be incredible, but damn girl!🥹😂💯

My wish for you is continuing to remember to always believe in and affirm yourself. For you to realize how powerful and unique you are and to step out of your comfort zone a bit more.
