I rarely speak up on Instagram. Those who know me well already know what I think, but I hate conflict and I usually don’t share my opinions. Still, today I feel the need to write.

It’s been 12 years now that I’ve been doing cheerleading. I grew up in this sport, in a mostly female environment, and I’ve been coaching for 4 years, leading a team of young girls between 13 and 18.

I consider each of these athletes as if they were my own children, and I will always do everything in my power to protect them.

From the very beginning, I’ve always been on COED teams. Often the only boy, especially when I was younger. Then, over the years, more and more surrounded by men.
I’ve lived through this evolution, and I’ve seen the dynamics change. That’s why I’m convinced today that we must remain vigilant and protect our athletes at all costs.

👉 But let’s be real: mixing ages and genders also brings serious problems.
In 12 years, I’ve seen too many immoral behaviors in our community. I’ve seen men who are respectful and honorable… but also abusers, manipulators, PIGS.

And there’s one reality I cannot stand: adult men showing interest in underage girls of 16.
French law still allows these kinds of relationships. But when the law fails, it’s up to us, as responsible adults, to rely on our morals and common sense. Because there is always a power dynamic, experience, a psychological hold that puts the younger one at a disadvantage.

👉 So I want to speak directly to the men in this sport:
If you’re sending a message to a minor (or even to women in general), ask yourself this simple question: would you feel comfortable showing that conversation to your family, your staff, or even to her parents?
If the answer is no, then there’s a problem.

This choice has sometimes left us isolated, criticized, even caricatured. But no matter the rumors: we stand by our values. We’d rather be misunderstood than turn a blind eye.

Today, I invite every coach, every club leader to ask themselves the real question:

Is it better to stack up medals… or to build a sport where our athletes are truly safe?

Because winning is good.
But protecting is essential. by @axcheer

Majesty 25/26 is over.

Une magnifique fin pour clore cette saison.

Je ne peux qu’être reconnaissant pour cette année. On a travaillé dur, on a connu des déceptions comme des joies, des réussites comme des échecs. Mais cette année nous a tellement appris, et on sait désormais où l’on veut aller dans les prochaines saisons.

Chaque fin d’année est un pincement au cœur : le U18 a toujours une fin, à un moment ou à un autre…

Je suis fier de chacune des athlètes qui ont composé cette équipe. Elles ont porté très haut le nom de Majesty. Ce sont toutes des athlètes exceptionnelles qui iront loin, et nous saurons leur rendre hommage lors des prochaines saisons !

Majesty, vous êtes ma plus grande fierté.

There is so much to say about this year, we worked hard, we gave everything, and unfortunately it wasn’t enough at this Summit.

@majesty.parischeer our category is tough, the smallest detail cost us dearly. We lost, and defeat has a bitter taste, especially with such a beautiful routine. You hit 0 deductions, the job was done ! We learned so much from this Summit, and it’s through defeat that we grow the most.

We couldn’t have done any better. this routine is by far the most beautiful one we’ve ever put out over all these years, and I am so proud of my team for bringing a HIT 0 back to France on top of everything.

Thank you. For your professionalism, for your focus, for showing the world exactly what I see every week. Every one of you came in locked in and performed at the highest level. I couldn’t be more proud of the athletes you are. 🧡💙

This score does not represent who we are or what we produced on that floor. We came to put on a show, and that’s exactly what we did, we gave the crowd and this stage everything they deserved. Majesty, you were magnificent, and this is just one more step on our road to gold.

This defeat is entirely our responsibility as a coaching staff, and we will do what it takes to get our revenge at the next Summit.

NSYWAPO, it will take as long as it needs to, but one day we will go claim that Summit.

To my co-coaches @lilas_lgr @mae_2l We fought hard together, and I want you to know how much I love you. We can only be proud of what our athletes delivered on that floor, and I would not be the coach I am today without you by my side. This journey is ours, together.
