Grateful to be able to participate in @fujibjj first Worlds tournament in Fishers Indiana. It was a long haul and a long weekend but worth the drive and time.

Thank you to the parents and significant others who support us in the Jiu-Jitsu journey and lifestyle. I know it can be a grueling adventure with long drives, long days, sore buttocks, aching feet, terrible beds and not always the best food. Actually the taco truck there was flipping amazing this time so HUGE win on that end-lol! We appreciate the cheering, love and support win or lose! ♥️

We had a lot of success win, lose or draw. Looking forward to the continued growth on this journey we call the Jiu-Jitsulifestyle! Here's the hardware we brought home.

Justin 🥇Nogi 🥈Gi
Brenden 🥈Nogi 🥇Nogi Elite 🥇Gi 🥇Gi Elite
Nick 🥉Nogi
Grant 🥉 Nogi 🥉Gi

Despite not medaling Nash probably had the biggest divisions and showed an amazing demonstration of skill and listening.

Some students also experienced some tough loses. Jiu-Jitsu is never (rarely actually) a upward linear progression. In my 20 year Jiu-Jitsu career thus far I have had many distractions albeit some worth it (Wife, Kids and Careers) and others not so fun (injuries, moves and mindset) that have had an impact on my journey. In the end what I have learned it that I can take the good with the bad and lead as an example of someone despite the difficulties just didnt quit. Kept showing up where I could and when I could. Some tournament runs were magical others very disappointing but in the end I have been blessed to test myself again and again and for those who do Jiu-jitsu I think that's what it is all about....just trying to suck a little less then yesterday. Lol. Oss! ☠️⚡️🔥

Jiu-Jitsu has a way of melting differences. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you do, your age, your profession, how much money you earn, whether you’re married or not, whether you have kids or you are a kid, your religion, or your history — because when you’re on the mats, none of that matters. That’s the beauty of this sport. It meets you where you’re at and brings out the best version of you that you can be for that day, that moment, and that time.

This week Axiom stepped onto the mats at IBJJF World Masters and Jiu-Jitsu Con in Las Vegas.

Not a local open. One of the biggest weekends in the sport. 6,000+ at World Masters. 10,000+ across the six Jiu-Jitsu Con events. Halls full of brackets. The kind of stage that makes the art feel huge — and you feel small when they call your name.

Brenden Pagliai
Terry Wilson
Kolt Forsythe

You didn’t leave with the medals you came for. That’s the truth. The work still counts. Showing up still counts. Giving everything you had that day still counts.

Roosevelt was right. It isn’t the critic who counts. The credit belongs to the one in the arena — dust, sweat, blood — who comes short again and again, and if he fails, fails while daring greatly.

Grateful doesn’t cover it. Grateful our people will train for months, fly out, pay the fees, the rooms, the time away from work and family — to represent Axiom and Pedigo Submission Fighting. That isn’t small. That’s belief.

Y’all come home. We watch the film. We study the gaps. Back to the drawing board.

Fuji Worlds is in October.

The arena is still there. So are we.

Oss. ☠️🔥⚡️

“ Come train with us at Axiom Jiu-Jitsu! It will be fun… just sign the waiver and everything will be okay! ” 😄

We know stepping through the doors for the first time can feel intimidating — whether you’re a kid, teen, or adult. The nerves, self-doubt, and “what ifs” are real.

But that first step is also the most important one you’ll take. The skills, confidence, discipline, and friendships built on the mats are worth every bit of courage it takes to show up.

If you or your child has been thinking about trying jiu-jitsu, this is your sign. Our kids, teens or adult programs are welcoming, safe, and genuinely fun.

At Axiom Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu we train hard, roll with respect, and keep the little ones safe (no flying armbars on the 4-year-olds..I promise).

This is more than just a mat — it’s a place where discipline, faith, humility, and growth come together. Kids, teens, and adults all welcome. Come train with us in Chillicothe!
