A conversation every dancer deserves to be a part of 💡

Knowing your rights matters, so does understanding your responsibilities, the agreements you enter into and the value you bring to a room. That knowledge shapes how you navigate the industry and advocate for yourself within it.

A huge thank you to Daniel Lenka for speaking honestly at AXIS Dance Education Session about the current state of the dance industry and helping dancers think more intentionally about the careers they’re building. ⭐️

Groove, flow and so much feeling in the room today!

Daniel Lenka brought Afro Commercial to AXIS 💛—and watching everyone find their own way into the movement was incredible!

Thank you Daniel, for sharing your energy and artistry with us.

And to everyone who came through: thank you for showing up, dancing with us and making today’s class what it was. ⭐️ taken in Five6seven8 Dance Studio by @axis.culture

We are demanding a country that stops men from killing women‼️

South Africa has become way too fluent in counting the victims—recording the death of women more efficiently than it protects their lives.

A valuable shift in perspective at the AXIS Dance Education Session. 💡

Before the body can adapt, the mind has to be equipped to understand, receive and respond.

A huge thank you to @leecoreblacksa for pouring into the AXIS community with a session that challenged dancers to think beyond movement and approach their craft with greater intention.
