The Umbrella in the Rain ​They called her selfish. ​It was a strange word for someone who had spent her entire life shrinking to make room for everyone else. ​Abandoned at birth, she became a ghost moving through a revolving door of foster homes—unwanted, unanchored, and always in the way. She clawed her way through school on scholarships, working brutal hours to pay her own tuition from high school onward. Every drop of sweat, every sleepless night, wasn't for glory—it was currency. Currency to send money back to the very parents who left her, and to pay for the brother who looked at her like a stranger. ​She never learned how to put herself first. Her youth was an endless relay race of sacrifice, handing off her energy, her money, and her heart to anyone with an outstretched hand. ​Today, her life is dedicated entirely to her students—staying late to tutor the struggling ones, listening to their heartbreaks, and making sure no child ever feels the crushing weight of invisibility that she knew so well. ​People look at her fierce independence and call her guarded. They call her hard. GALAU DITINGGAL Hal yang paling berat adalah melepaskan students. Entah mereka lulus, pindah sekolah atau bahkan pindah negara.. MathDevil bisa galau loh klo urusan students. Eitss ,,, Jangan khawatir kita ada sesi Online Class loh. Dan karena teachers kita mostly native Dan Cambridge examiner Dan juga Cambridge officer jadi teacher kita kebanyakan juga tinggal di Philippines jadi bisa online yaaa... Jadi g perlu galau lagi.. CABE RAWIT KALAH PEDES SAMA OMONGAN TETANGGA Berdasarkan sintesis dari berbagai literatur psikologi kognitif dan pengembangan diri yang terindeks dalam database seperti Scopus (khususnya dalam bidang Positive Psychology dan Self-Efficacy), Secara ilmiah, keberhasilan hidup seseorang lebih banyak ditentukan oleh variabel internal dibandingkan variabel eksternal. Konsep Locus of Control (Rotter, 1966) menunjukkan bahwa individu yang percaya bahwa mereka memiliki kendali penuh atas hidupnya cenderung mencapai kesuksesan yang lebih tinggi dan memiliki ketahanan mental yang lebih kuat. 1. Satu-satunya penghalang adalah diri kita sendiri. Penelitian mengenai Self-Sabotage dan Limiting Beliefs mengungkapkan bahwa hambatan nyata bukanlah restriksi dari lingkungan sosial, melainkan mekanisme pertahanan ego yang menciptakan rasa takut akan kegagalan. Ketika kita merasa "terhenti," itu sering kali merupakan manifestasi dari kurangnya self-efficacy (Bandura, 1977), yaitu keyakinan pada kemampuan diri sendiri untuk mengatur dan melaksanakan tindakan yang diperlukan demi mencapai hasil tertentu. 2. Mengabaikan "external noise" Dalam artikel-artikel psikologi sosial, terdapat fenomena yang disebut Spotlight Effect, di mana kita cenderung melebih-lebihkan sejauh mana orang lain memperhatikan atau peduli pada kegagalan kita. Fokus pada pertumbuhan intrapersonal Studi tentang Growth Mindset (Dweck, 2006) menekankan bahwa dengan mengalihkan fokus dari "bagaimana saya terlihat di mata orang lain menjadi "bagaimana saya bisa berkembang hari ini," seseorang dapat membuka potensi yang sebelumnya dianggap mustahil.
