💗WHY ALPHA CHI WEDNESDAY💗

Kicking off our first #whyalphachi of the quarter with one of our newest members Khloe Naranjo, a first year biology major!

Let’s hear about why she chose Alpha Chi✨

“My name is Khloe Naranjo, and I’m a biology major! I chose AXO because from the very first time I stopped by their tent during freshman orientation, I immediately felt the warmth and passion these girls had, especially when talking about their philanthropy. Every conversation since then has felt just as genuine, and connecting with the girls of AXO has always felt so natural and effortless. I truly felt valued and welcomed, and I knew I wanted to be part of a sisterhood that cares so deeply about making a difference. I’m beyond excited to be part of AXO and can’t wait to make lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories with all these amazing girls! 💗” by @axo_ucr

A round that holds a special place in our hearts. 💜

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to share the philanthropy that means so much to Alpha Chi Omega: Domestic Violence Awareness. Our sisters wore purple dresses alongside white to represent the 1 in 4 women affected by domestic violence and the 1 in 3 college women affected by it. These numbers are more than statistics. They represent real women, real stories, and the importance of standing together to raise awareness, support survivors, and advocate for change.

We believe that love should never hurt and that every woman deserves relationships built on respect, trust, and support. At Alpha Chi Omega, we strive to empower one another, build each other’s confidence, and remind every sister of her strength and worth. This is what makes our philanthropy so meaningful to us.

We are so grateful to have shared a cause that is at the heart of our sisterhood with you all. As we head into Preference Day today, we can’t wait to continue sharing what makes Alpha Chi Omega feel like home. 🤍

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜

For Alpha Chi Omega, this month is an opportunity to bring greater attention to the realities of domestic violence and the importance of supporting those affected by it. More than 1 in 3 women in the U.S. have experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. Behind statistics like this are real people, which is why awareness, education, and advocacy matter.

Throughout October, we encourage our community to learn more about domestic violence, recognize the resources available to survivors, and support organizations working to make a difference. We’re proud to use our platform to bring attention to this cause not only this month, but year-round.💜

Love, Alpha Chi

THESE HANDS DON’T HAZE. ❤️‍🩹

National Hazing Prevention Week is a reminder that sisterhood should always be a place of support, respect, and belonging. Alpha Chi Omega is proud to stand against hazing and for a sisterhood where we uplift one another, look out for each other, and lead with kindness.

These hands support. These hands empower. These hands don’t haze.🤍
