AXOR enables you to bring your personal taste and style to every corner of the bathroom.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

By interpreting the bathroom not simply as utilitarian space but as a private sanctuary, New York-based studio Gabellini Sheppard has created a bathroom concept for AXOR that interprets the culture of bathing for contemporary living.

Through architecture, light, materials and the anchoring presence of AXOR Archivio, the space transforms everyday encounters with water into moments of reflection, restoration and quiet pleasure.

Contemporary design in dialogue with tradition. In the magnificent Ludwig Suite of @kempinski_munich, the richly appointed interior extends into the bathroom through carefully composed layers of Moena marble and thoughtfully curated details. Here, the expressive forms of AXOR Urquiola establish a dialogue between historical reference and contemporary design.

Finished in warm Brushed Brass, the four-hole bath faucet introduces a luminous accent that complements the marble surfaces while echoing the metallic details found throughout the suite.

"When I reflect on hotels and restaurants that have left a lasting impression on me, the icing on the cake tends to be an astounding bathroom," explains Dr. Joachim Köhrich, an entrepreneur and real estate developer behind the hotel The Knast. For the bathrooms of the boutique hotel in Berlin’s southwest, he decided for the color scheme of black, red and copper.

The coppery luster of AXOR fixtures in Polished Red Gold finish not only contrasts strikingly with the steel-gray bars out in front of the windows but also creates a captivating reflection in the shiny mosaic pattern of the matt black tiled walls.

It’s almost hard to believe: a former prison in Berlin’s sleepy southwest, transformed into a marquee boutique hotel and fine-dining restaurant. The Knast has established its reputation as an insider tip as a bar, restaurant, venue – and art hub – far away from the usual tourist haunts.

In the bathrooms, one would find a curated selection of AXOR showers and faucets in Polished Red Gold finish, among them AXOR Showerpipe by Front. The pipes, funnels and valves of this showerpipe embody an early-industrial style, perfectly harmonizing with the site’s historic ambience.
