Finally I post it 4 month later…
It has been the longest work I have ever drawn so far.
Huge kudos to @oohsofi__ and @_dshvslnk_ for forcing me to use thinner for the first time in my life lol. Drawing in oil for 5+ years and never used it, what an idiot… but I have really comprehended its importance finally. Makes things I used to struggle with waaaaay easier.

I find The Durutti Column’s music extremely visual and exceptionally unique. There is a kind of neutral solitude to it, most of the time I find myself in a desert or beach, where the wind is gentle, has no temperature and barely produces sound. And some occult untranslatable scene…

I’ve finally released a new track - “your arms became home”…

It was quite a journey. Just one extremely inspiring night led to a year of producing. I had been redoing multiple parts of the song for months, and it was twice put on hold for some time, but finally it’s ready. The beautiful vocals by @clairehbarbour, thank you so much for such a gorgeous animating finish!

A Window (38x46, oil on canvas)

Honestly, I used to avoid drawing landscapes due to some idiotic and biased perception of this type of art; but when I appeared to have no actual fantasy or “profound” idea, I found drawing a landscape quite recreational.
This particular one is a nook in Tyresta Nationalpark, where I was camping last year. It is still one of the best and most emotional days of my life, the 20th of July… and I’m glad that it’s now owned by a sister of a person who made that day so exceptional.

It’s the second drawing from the series “Den Avskilda Vrån” about the serenity of Sweden. I’m planning on doing 3 to 4 more paintings for it, using the same 38x46 linen canvas.

Also, these f**king lily pads, I hate them… I painted them over and over again, such a shame. Next time I’ll do only close-up lily pads!

The Spark / Ignition (2/3)

You are always able to find the spark and turn a tiny flame to a vast bonfire. And then turn yourself to an inexhaustible source of this flame. The inner spark is what allows us to turn a tiny photon to a ray that tears the space apart with the speed of light. This root lies deep inside us. Until you feel the complete exhaustion the spark inside you will keep burning your body, making your hands make beautiful things, your mouth say touching phrases, your eyes express unseen emotions.
