been seeing the ‘grease test’ challenge for the latest @hudabeauty lip stains and wanted to finally to put it to the test with my own personal twist as an ethiopian by having it with injera to see if it would last through a full meal 🇪🇹🤍

there's been many moments this year where i genuinely felt burnt out and found more comfort being offline than online, fully enjoying the present moment and connecting more with myself and my interests

but whenever that happened, going back to posting felt hard, there's this inner voice telling me 'you've been away so your next post has to be reallyyy good', or i just have too much content and can't decide what to do with it, so I end up going back to my comfort space of not posting

and then the cycle continues because guilt kicks in, imposter syndrome and wondering where i would be right now instead if I never took a step back and fell into this pattern, if only I stayed consistent despite it all

I know that i'm not at my most consistent, but that has definitely opened doors for my creativity in other spaces which would have never happened if I didn't take a step back, I am where I am meant to be and what is coming next is going to be absolutely amazing, no pattern is linear and i'm enjoying going with the flow instead

this is your sign to not rush the process 🤍
