NO EDITORIAL MEETINGS IN A RADIO STATION? REALLY? 🤔🎙️

So,I recently heard that some radio stations do not hold editorial meetings, and honestly, I’m curious…

How does that work?
Editorial meetings are where stories, programme content, angles, priorities, ethics, and sometimes even the direction of the day’s broadcast are discussed and aligned.
So, if a radio station operates without editorial meetings, does it have any impact on the quality of its content, the professionalism of its staff, or the overall credibility of the station?

Or perhaps editorial meetings are simply an old-school practice that modern radio stations can function perfectly well without? 👀

AND HERE’S THE BIG QUESTION:
Can a radio station truly maintain consistency, accountability and professional standards when everyone simply goes about their duties without sitting together to review and plan?

My Mummies and Daddies in the broadcasting profession, please, lend us your years of experience and professional wisdom. 🎙️
Is a radio station without editorial meetings a sign of flexibility and efficiency,or a recipe for disjointed broadcasting?

Let’s debate this! 🔥
Curiosity made me ask. 😜 by @ayabaonradio
