A little... No, no, no. A big life update! This summer I married this beautiful woman of God!

I give all praise and glory to Jesus! A few years ago, I found myself being a Christian who didn't know his true identity in Christ and felt as if I was in an endless cycle. Time after I failed God, and fell short of his glory. But I did not fall short of his grace. For his mercies are new every morning. He lifted me up with his grace, and taught me who I truly am in him. And once I learned my identity in Christ I began to fly like an eagle, never looking back to the old life.

From glory to glory, the Lord has brought me. I never thought I would be married at this young age of mine, but I am so blessed that the Lord found it fitting in his will. This marriage is truly a testament of God's grace. I am grateful for my parents teaching me how to be a man, for my Pastors and other mentors I have that have spoken life into me and taught me Jesus, and for my community who hold me accountable and sharpens me.

The journey has not ended yet, it has just begun. I am grateful for my forever partner in Christ, that we get to step into a new chapter of this book of life together.

It’s honestly wild to me that this is even a debate…

As believers, the way we speak matters. Our words reflect what’s in our hearts. We’re called to be set apart—to be the light of the world. If our language looks no different from the world, how can people see Christ in us?

“Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.” — James 3:10

This isn’t about being perfect, but about growing. Constantly using foul language shows a lack of spiritual maturity and self-control, especially when we’ve been called to renew our minds.

And to the newer believers—don’t let influence confuse you. Just because someone has a platform doesn’t mean everything they do should be followed.

This isn’t an attack on anyone. We should be praying for one another—that we feel conviction, grow in the Spirit, and learn to truly guard our tongues.

It's not always the devil's fault. Sometimes the Lord presses the pause button so that we can redirect our hearts and our focus on his will. We have to stay aware of his plans for our life and seek accomplishing his will over our own selfish motives. Sometimes the Lord may not be allowing you to take the next step because you still need to mature, or because you're living in sin and need to repent. Either way he does not hold us back to shame us, or to discourage us, but he do so, so we can be restore our focus to him.

Seek the kingdom of God first and all his righteousness, not the things of this world. As you seek him and set your heart on His will, all your needs will be provided because the Lord is Jehovah Jireh (provider)

Many people want to hop straight into full time ministry which is good! That’s amazing! But it’s not the only occupation that bring God glory! You see we are able to bring God into anywhere and anyplace. If we acknowledge him in everything, then that “secular” job becomes a place of worship. Colossians 3:23 says “whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for man.” You are able to experience the glory of God at all times, but setting your heart on him, and constantly communing with him throughout the day. So if you’re at work reading this, or if you just happen to be chilling on Tik Tok, take a moment to stop and acknowledge the presence of God, and watch how that shifts your whole day. We can encounter God daily by simply acknowledging his presence cause he’s always with us. We just need to be aware of that! And truly believe it in our hearts. So go out in all the different fields of work, and bring glory to God by worshiping him through your work, and seek for open doors to share the gospel to your coworkers.
