We don’t need weapons to change the world
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
With no fixed house, no money, trying to live back in the Netherlands I am witnessing how complex it is. I heard someone saying a couple of years ago: ‘Once you move out, it’s hard to get back in.’ And it’s true.

God let me experiencing all layers of life.. The luxury lifestyle, the adventures and the “i don’t know what this state is. Rock bottom?” And in every layer there is another side of the spectrum. I am learning a lot about the system, about myself and people, and I am wondering…

Is it really that we have to take care of nature or does it starts automatically when we begin with ourselves? Our body (Earth), thoughts (air), emotions (water), actions (fire) and just being mindful. And I am wondering maybe my ancestors were right. I believe we don’t need more individual healing, I believe that this time of age invites us to open our hearts and to look around. To ask your friend; ‘but how are you really?’ And listen. Or look a bit further, outside the circles that are already familiar. Your neigbour, the old man that needs help to cross over the street, the women who actually feels afraid to go home at midnight, someone who takes food out of the trash. It’s not the system that will change the world, it’s us learning not to judge a book by it’s cover and give space, a hand to help and some and support.

When the ground falls underneath your feed, you experience something that you can only bow, kneel and surrender. God send me back to create art again, to work with my hands and listen to the whispers of God.

4 years ago, I sold everything and travelled the world with one backpack and a dream. This year, I felt ready to return to Mozambique, back to my roots, and at the same time, I felt invited to open my heart to love again.

I strongly felt I was opening the door to something that was meant for me and maybe it was..just not in the way I expected. Because what this experience has taught me may be one of the biggest lessons of my life:

🤞🏾 To never abandon my dreams for anyone;
🤞🏾 To trust my own discernment and listen to my inner knowing;
🤞🏾 To never place another person between me and the Creator, God.
🤞🏾 To never give my power away; not to a spiritual teacher, a shaman, a man, a woman, my parents, my family, or anyone else.

I’m learning that I can receive wisdom from others without handing them the authority to decide who I am or where I’m going. The answers I’m looking for lives already within.

And for every woman who has ever waited to be chosen by a man, let this be a reminder: We are already chosen. 💎

I’m forever grateful for the people who have had my back the people who opened their homes, offered shelter, showed up for me, and reminded me that I don’t have to carry everything alone. 🥹

There is something about facing the consequences of your own choices, to have no excuses, no blaming but just bowing, surrendering and accepting what is. I’m being invited to build something RAW, REAL, and HONEST and, more than anything, to remember who the F. I am. 🤌🏾

When there is no solid ground underneath you, when money isn’t coming in, and all you have is faith, action, and a community that shows up for you… you learn a lot about yourself and you learn who has the purest intentions for you.

So here I am. Not closing my heart to love and not closing my heart to service, but I’m learning to receive, to be vulnerable, to ask for support to accomplish my dreams together.

So if you know of a place, a job, a project, an opportunity, or something that could support me as I continue building this next chapter, please send me a DM. 💌

Not giving up! Nothing can stop me. ❤️‍🔥

This year has brought me the biggest lesson of my life and at the same time the biggest gift. This year i have learned how it is to trust someone else guidance, while God was showing me so many reasons to move differently.
Facing the consequences of my own (ego) decisions was the lesson i needed to learn in many ways; as a women, black women, a daughter a sister and human being and it brought me the biggest gift: God, the creator.

I am meeting myself a new as never before, and i want to give myself the time for this process, alchemizing this experience into creation.

If you are going through a process like this as well, forgiveness, pray, practice gratitude and focus on the things that excited you, even small things brings you back up. Your not alone! ✨

Looking forward to share new music here!

The message of this Aries Full Moon says: Your truth is not too much, your courage is medicine, your good enough, you are worthy exactly as you are. 🌹

For many years women were thaught to disconnect from their intuition and be silenced. But when your truth isn’t spoken it gets stored in the body, the heart and throat. Under the Full Moon in Aries on the 26th of September the invitation is: Choose yourself, speak your truth and honour your “yes” (your direction) and your “no” (your protection).

Join me online on the 1st of October an intimate space to reconnect with your womb/heart/throat so your life force can move again and your voice can become manifestation ✨

Sign up and get the meeting link in bio. 🌹 by @ayanamalua

Proud to see that “The keeper of silence 🪽” has arrived in her new place 🙏🏾

—-
For generations, she carried what could not be spoken.
Stories of survival, migration, loss and strength. Silence that once kept her ancestors safe what as been lived in their bodies as a protection.

But what was once survival, does not have to stay in silence.
She honors where she comes from and chooses to transform it.

To feel what was unfelt and to give it voice to what was unspoken and to rise up, not in rebellion, but in remembrance. by @ayanamalua

When my ancestors meet the prayers of the rainforest - Ancestral Intellegence 🔮🪽🔗🦅🐆

My voice began opening after I connected with the medicines from the rainforest. In that moment, I could see where I had been blocked in my throat and how it was connected to my womb and my heart.

Since then, I’ve watched my voice transform and heal and still on a journey though. I noticed the change not only through singing, but also through speaking my truth. I began to say what feels right in my heart. I stopped making myself small to fit the comfort of someone else.

That was the moment I knew I was here for a reason. It became clear that this journey was about knowing myself more deeply opening my voice, and choosing what I love to do.

Now I feel like a vessel of truth. And when I sing, it feels like my ancestors are singing with me. 🪽

Thank you so much for the medicines from the rainforest can’t wait to remember the songs my ancestors used to sing ✨ by @ayanamalua

Women who hype women, women who celebrate women,
Women who make each other feel UNSTOPPABLE.
That’s my kind of energy, that’s my field⚡️🔥

No competition, no comparison.
Normalize being the woman who genuinely gets excited when another woman wins and who claps when she rises.
Who celebrates her, supports her, amplifies her.

Grateful to have women around me who clap when I rise and I’ll be the loudest one clapping when they do. ⚡️🫶🏾

More women of this please, Always. Thanks for capturing @empress.empowa 🙏🏾 by @ayanamalua
