This was my second year writing Disney Legends, but I still pinch myself to make sure it's real. ✨️

Here are a few scenes from the show and around Anaheim, my home for most of August.

Two Black icons at the BET Black + Iconic Soirée, celebrating Black queer excellence. Writing this show was like writing a love letter to myself.

I directed the @lavernecox in the cold open and earned the nickname "Checkers" from @evamarcille - it was truly iconic. Can't wait for you all to see it when it drops!

To my family and friends, those pictured and those not, thank you for a lovely time. I'm still on a high from my birthday celebration. The vibes were immaculate. And my heart is full from your presence (and presents) at my party. The cards, the calls, the texts, DMs, thoughts, and love are all appreciated. So grateful 🙏

Special thanks to my wife @b_alexisbeauty and my mom @azel_opal_events for curating every detail with care and class. Everything was perfect!

A Lady Legend was born on this day. I hope the world feels your light today. I hope everyone finds inspiration today the way you inspire those around you now. I love you and cheers 🥂 to celebrating many more.

💖 The Wifeyannas GIVE BACK Event was an absolute blessing! Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, hugged, laughed, and poured so much love into this day. Because of your generosity, families at Atlanta Mission will stay warm, supported, and able to enjoy a truly Merry Christmas. ✨

We are so grateful for this community. When we come together, we make magic happen. 🎁❤️

We’re excited to share that we plan to make this an annual event, with hopes of growing it bigger and more impactful every single year!

If you’d still like to contribute, @thewifeyannas has a donation link available in the bio where you can give directly to Atlanta Mission. Every bit helps us continue spreading warmth, hope, and holiday joy! 🎄💛 @atlmission by @ayanareece
