Once again, the talent, vendors, and staff were first class 💯 There were so many unique products and businesses represented.

What I love most is how FUN the day is. Professionalism with personality—you cannot beat it. 🙌🏾

I stepped away from the writing desk to enjoy life outside of the characters in my brain. I’m discovering it does the mind, body, and soul good to change up my environment, and seek out new experiences.

#ShaileneWoodley gave a refreshingly candid talk at @sagaftrafound! She's remained grounded in who she is by choosing to live differently, all while maintaining a successful acting career. Catch her in the latest season of @paradiseonhulu

Thank you @sarahmurphree for being theee best companion for the night! 🌟 taken in SAG-AFTRA by @ayannaanene

What can I say about #newbornmovie???
Suspenseful.
Beautifully shot.
Tightly written.
Emotional.
Original.
Symbolic.

The kind of film you don’t just watch—you sit with. I’ll definitely be seeing it again.

Thank you to @jean_liu_christen @cleestorm for the invitation to a private showing.

Huge congratulations to @davidoyelowo @origi_nate Christina @yorubasaxon @bronstudios on creating such an important film. It raises powerful questions around justice, ethics, and morality within the U.S. criminal system.

Run—don’t walk—to see this in theaters. Only at #AMC. 🎬🔥 by @ayannaanene

When I say I felt compelled to be in the room for @hollywoodconfidential #LorettaDevine talk… I mean that. 🎬✨

I reconnected with old friends, met new ones—and walked away with a whole new appreciation for Loretta’s body of work.

Fun fact: I had no idea she won an #Emmy for playing Adele Webber on @greysabc Her performances? Intense. Left me shook!🔥

One of my favorite moments—watching Loretta and #LelaRochon laugh about #WaitingtoExhale still hitting 30 years later. And the gem Loretta dropped before they went on Oprah:

“We still gotta go back in the room after this.”

The audition room. An artist never stops honing their craft.

If you’re not tapped into Hollywood Confidential… where have you been?? 👀

Don’t miss the upcoming actor’s workshop on 4/12 with Robin Reed and Yvette Lee Bowser. Tap in @hollywoodconfidential

And congrats @iamstevejones —love seeing your success! 🙌🏾✨ by @ayannaanene

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

So I took the advice. I committed, did the work, refined, believed… and then I shot my shot.

And sometimes? It goes in. 𝑆𝑤𝑜𝑜𝑠ℎ. 🏀✨

I’m honored to be voted 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 for the 2026 Write of Passage Screenwriting Competition, and to be named a 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁. What a journey.

It was a lot of fun crafting 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑆𝑢𝑖𝑡 𝑀𝑎𝑘𝑒𝑟. Shoutout to #DerrickWarfel for collaborating as the development executive—truly appreciated your insight and partnership.

To everyone who voted— your support means more than words can say.

And my biggest thank you goes to the Holy Spirit—my co-writer and creative collaborator. 🙏🏾🕊️

P.S. Curious? 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑆𝑢𝑖𝑡 𝑀𝑎𝑘𝑒𝑟 is available at the link in bio.

Interested in optioning the script for the speed competition ahead of fall festival season? DM me (serious inquiries only).

For decades, the @168filmfestival has created space for bold, faith-driven storytelling. If that’s your lane—I highly recommend submitting this year. 🎬 by @ayannaanene
