Digital Chaise longue by Philip Aduatz.
.

2018
Concrete 3D printed, carbon fibre reinforced, protection coating
Edition of 8 + 4 A/P
.

The Digital Chaise longue emerged from a collaboration of Viennese product designer Philipp Aduatz with Austrian start-up company incremental3d from Innsbruck. The sculptural design language is realized by the use of an innovative digital fabrication technology that allows to 3D print very detailed concrete geometries in a very fast time.

The concept is to use the new technology developed by incremental3d for a complex freeform design by Philipp Aduatz and show the new possibilities of creating complex shapes in an application for furniture design.

It is further the aim to show the synergy of the experimental and scientific approach on design by Philipp Aduatz with a company that has developed a new technology and looking for applications.

Conglomerato Prossimo Console by Riccardo Cenedella
.

Materials : Chroma Lava Stone with Blue matrix and selected coloured Marble inserts.
Size  :  H33,4”   W49,6”   D14”    ( H85   W126   D36 cm )

.

Sedimentary rocks are formed through the compression and consolidation of fragments or clasts of pre-existing minerals and stones, shaped and bound together over time by geological forces.Surprisingly, the CHROMA’s MERSUS process mirrors this natural formation, forging unexpected connections between nature and technology, past and present, the organic and the handmade.

Inspired by this analogy, the project proposes a collection of objects that evoke monolithic architecture, structures that, in prehistoric times, were composed by assembling diverse stones into imposing and symbolic forms. The aim is to highlight both the expressive potential of the material and the innovation of the production process. The pieces in the collection are designed using an additive approach, with the goal of minimising material usage.

The components of the objects are arranged within the slab using a nesting technique, allowing for optimal use of resources while significantly reducing off-cuts.@chromacomposites @cene_____ #aybargallery #sculpture #artwork #console #artcollector taken in New York City by @aybargallery

ARCHI Sculpture by Artist Irina Razumovskaya.
.

Year : 2020
Materials : Porcelain, Stoneware, Glazes, Pigments.
Size : 26”H 20”W 14,5”D ( H67 W50 D37 cm )

Blending together Architectural forms and Natural shapes, Irina Razumovskaya Artworks let herself work intuitively using her aesthetic preferences and tacit knowledge.Regarding the craft aspect of Irina’s work, she creates a core made of strong, geometric stoneware clay. The various layers of ceramic materials are applied subsequently. Then, all these materials start to melt and “ peel ” in the firing, creating an unexpected result and imaginative Artworks.

The Archi collection commissioned by Aybar Gallery is purely an artistic body of work. It’s lighter, subtle colours allow it to fit clean modern spaces with minimalistic silouettes that have a tremendous ability to pull the viewer in.

For this sculptures, Irina combines sandblasted ceramic shapes with layers of glaze and rough concrete surfaces to evoke the decay of architectural structures, with dusty and monochrome colours, layers of peeling paint and crumbling stone. @irina.razum

IN´EI Tables designed by Indian based Studio Cumulus.

Natural Clay, Japanese Kurinuki Carving Technique, Brass or Aluminium Top.
.

The “In’ei” table, inspired by Jun’ichirō Tanizaki’s essay “In Praise of Shadows,” beautifully embodies the essence of dim light and shadow in Japanese culture. This hand-made ceramic and brass table represents a harmonious blend of artistry and craftsmanship.

The base utilizes the traditional Japanese Kurinuki carving technique, where legs are shaped directly from solid clay, yielding a unique and organic texture. This meticulous process ensures that each piece is one-of-a-kind. Topped with a 6 mm thick solid brass surface, the table combines luxury with earthy ruggedness, highlighting the contrast between the reflective brass and the textured ceramic.

More than just furniture, the “In’ei” table invites you to pause, connect, and appreciate timeless craftsmanship that grounds us to the earth.
.

Cumulus is a concept inspired by the ever-changing nature of clouds—shifting forms, evolving silhouettes, and the interplay of light and shadow. Just like clouds transform effortlessly, our designs embrace fluidity, adaptability, and innovation.
Each piece is a balance between form and function, crafted to evolve with time and space.

At Cumulus, we believe that furniture and objects are not static; it breathes, interacts, and reshapes its presence within an environment. Our approach, Cumulus Thinking, is rooted in continuous exploration—pushing the boundaries of materials, textures, and craftsmanship to create pieces that feel alive.

From sculptural silhouettes to dynamic modularity, our collections reflect an organic, intuitive design philosophy. With every creation, we invite movement, light, and transformation into everyday living—just as clouds do in the sky. @cumulus_thinking

Nefertiti Chair by Marco Zelli.
.

The NEFERTITI project expands the expressive language first explored in the original lamp design with a chair.
Through subtle geometric adjustments, the sculptural form of the lamp is reimagined to embrace new functions and possibilities.
Crafted from plywood with a wooden cladding by Alpi Wood, each piece emerges from a conceptual process of “subtraction” from a virtual main volume. Each subtraction introduces a change in material, shaping both form and function.

The chair commands an almost monumental presence. Its spatial essence — a “room within a room” — allows it to perform the simple act of seating while preserving an autonomous sculptural identity.

The NEFERTITI collection explores the dialectic between two languages: the formal precision of Minimal Art and the vibrancy of Pop Art and culture. This collision creates a paradoxical interplay between permanence and contingency, between stillness and playfulness. As a result, the object can appear both abstract and evocative, silent and expressive an open field for projection and interpretation.

Designed in early March 2025, the piece was presented at the 2025 edition of Alcova Miami, set within the evocative atmosphere of the River Inn Hotel.

OTL-TA ( One Thing Led to Another ) Chair designed by Vincent Decat

Wood, Steel, Resin, Paint.
Limited Edition 5

.

One Thing Led To Another is a handcrafted sculpture born from an exploration of the coexistence between inert matter and organic forms. Its structure evokes a frozen mineral landscape, a rocky surface with irregular contours and neutral tones, upon which orange spores gradually spread and colonize their support.

The whole forms a hybrid object where the living and the inorganic do not oppose but coexist, creating a delicate balance that recalls natural processes of regeneration. The warm-colored outcrops contrast with the coolness of the grey base, suggesting a presence that slowly expands, settles in, and transforms its environment.

Crumble de Verre Mirrors by Riccardo Cenedella .
.
Murano is an island which is part of the city of Venice and is located north-east of it.The importance of Murano is due to the presence of the furnaces for working glass which were moved there in 1295 with an ordinance which established their transfer for safety reasons. The concentration of furnaces and glass masters has led to a progressive development of the art of glass, making it one of the most recognized forms of craftsmanship in the world.

Through the collaboration with Barbini Specchi Venezian, the project aims to reuse glass waste from their production for the creation of a new mirror collection through experimental approaches inspired by the paté de verre technique. Specifically, instead of pulverizing the waste, the intention is to reuse it in the form of grit and melt it at lower temperatures in order to create objects that are characterized by an aspect that can refer to the origin of the raw material. << This is Copper >> designed by Studio ThusThat.
.

Slag is a waste byproduct of mining and metallurgy. In the production–and even recycling–of metal, slag is cast aside as a man-made lava in mountainous heaps.Despite being seen as a waste, slag benefits from unique properties, and can be used as an alternative to cement—a ‘geopolymer’–with 80% lower carbon footprint.
In this collection, ThusThat has developed a variety of techniques with the scientists of KU Leuven to create monolithic black forms of varying scales.
The series aims to negotiate a new functional and aesthetic appreciation for a material that is an inevitability of our future, as much as it is a trace of our past; alongside industrial era slag heaps that dot the European landscape are growing new slag mountains in the age of electricity and renewables. This project asks what this future landscape can offer.
The monolithic forms echo these slag heaps, textured by the hand-made process of forming in a way that mirrors the molten origins of the material. Each piece is joined with hammered copper surfaces that speak to the long heritage of copper-smithing that has disappeared in the age of copper wires and cables.
