Intro to my first up-cycled denim lookbook: titled
“Preserve Our Future”

A passion of mine has been to make clothes and put out collections that speak and reflect who I am, my personal style iterations, and what I believe in. I’ve been designing clothes since I was 16, and as I expanded my knowledge of the fashion industry and experiences that I’ve seen and learned throughout these past few years, I’ve become fascinated to create looks and clothing that consists entirely of up-cycled and repurposed materials that have already been in market circulation. Doing this limits the need to process and manufacture new textiles which results in less waste, water, and chemical emissions. I believe we should embrace the challenge of limiting the use of materials to expand our creative abilities through innovative design concepts and unique recycled pieces. Each piece individually telling a story on its own, with its own characteristics and nuances, in parallel with the person wearing it. I believe we should use and create with the beautiful materials we already have on this earth.
