An 8 year old little girl’s dreams came true today. I never would have imagined I’d ever get to wear such a beautiful cosplay and bring the amazing character of Kate Kane, Batwoman, to life. Thank you to everyone at @galaxyconraleigh who stopped for a picture or even just said hello. And thank you to @juancarlocreations for making my dreams come true with this beautiful suit. ❤️🦇 #batman #galaxycon2026 #galaxyconraleigh #cosplay #batwoman taken in GalaxyCon Raleigh by @aydan_lawler

My grad cap! Superheroes and what they represent have always been a massive part of my life. They gave me strength through the toughest ups and downs I have been through, which are definitely abundant. While Batman will always be my favorite superhero, the message Superman has always inspired pushes me to be a better person and holds a special place in my heart. Young me would have loved the newest Superman movie, just like current me did, so this one is for her. I'm so excited to walk across the stage in this. ❤️ The art is inspired by one of my favorite pieces by @jorge_jimenez_art who is one of my favorite comic book artists. I hope one day I can make comics filled with the same joy and love as his. Thank you @jamesgunn @davidcorenswet for putting such a punk rock message into the mainstream. You perfectly captured what comics should be. #superman #graduationcap #graduation #2026 #graduation2026 taken in East Carolina University by @aydan_lawler

How lucky I am to be a part of the best Brinkley Lane family to ever exist. It’s not up for debate. They have brought me so much joy and support through the years I have had them in my life. Thank you so much for all the love. Please wish this koi fish well as she continues on her journey, my dears! 🎏🌼 @brinkleylanescholars @ecu_honors #brinkleylanescholars #brinkleylane #brinkleylanescholar #ecuhonors by @aydan_lawler

“They call it Paradise, as if we don't have eyes. As if we don't have ears and mouths and hands. We have lived it. Anyone can call what they don't know a paradise. They lie. All they do is lie. And despite our hands and ears and mouths and eyes, we believe them. Welcome to Elysium.”

Instagram is stupid and won't let me post the full image without it getting cropped, so I had to post it in two parts… thanks Instagram. by @aydan_lawler

She appeared suddenly and opened The Hearth a little after Anesidora arrived. Everyone in the slums seem to trust her, brother included, but I can’t help feeling a little suspicious. Why is she so determined to help so many people when she herself seems to have so little? What is her story? Why had I never seen her before? Brother’s notes imply she knew something about Flame… by @aydan_lawler

This monster of a work is finally done. This is the conference room for the villains of my senior project. I wanted it to feel cold and sterile, while still being vibrant. I used a lot of Roman architecture as influence as well. Enjoy! Please. This thing took years off my life span. by @aydan_lawler

Yeah, how many other BLS families can say they had 6 generations at Selection Sunday? That’s what I thought. 💪🥰 #brinkleylane #brinkleylanescholars #ecuhonors #selectionsunday by @aydan_lawler

Yesterday, I was given the incredibly amazing opportunity to display my artwork in the office of North Carolina representative Winslow, as well as meet with Representatives Brown and Reeder. It was such an honor to speak with them about my work and learn more about how they serve our community as a whole. I was so incredibly inspired. Regardless of political views, they each stand for our community and have also chosen to support up-and-coming artists like myself. I will forever be grateful for this day and this opportunity. Next goal, meeting Governor Stein. 💪 Thank you so much. #ecu #ecuhonors #brinkleylanescholars #brinkleylane #ecusoad taken in North Carolina State Legislative Building by @aydan_lawler
