Thank you football. Lemme start with the man who start it all my dad or better know as G-rock. Thank you for teaching me this game and always holding me to the highest standard, always. Never in my life would I wish for someone else to be by my side. You make feel strong when I don’t and you started a fire in me that has never stopped. Thank you for being a role model to me and my friends, and being the best father a little boy can ask for. Next is my friends, mainly my Og Warriors. Thank you for giving me my forever brothers and making the man I am today. Thank you to my friends and family, yall always remind me who I am and hold me to the highest standard. Next thank you to my surgeon. As most of yall know I had to get surgery the night b4 my senior night,with the grace of God I was able to play in my last game only 8 days post surgery. Thank you Righetti & Santa Ynez. All my brothers at Santa Ynez know how much they’ve helped me. Thank you to the Pahler family for helping me with whatever I needed and all my brothers on the football team. It wasn’t easy leaving everything behind but because of y’all I will never regret my decision. NOW THE BIGGEST PART OF THEM ALL THANK YOU FOOTBALL. YOU SAVED ME FROM EVERY SITUATION I COULDN’T HANDLE AS A LITTLE BOY. I HAD NOTHING BUT THIS SPORT, AND EVER SINCE I STARTED PLAYING ALL MY LIFE HAS BEEN AROUND IT. I HAVE ALWAYS DEALT WITH MENTAL HEALTH ,I NEVER WAS ABLE TO FIND A WAY TO TALK OR TO FIND A WAY TO SOLVE MY PROBLEMS , BUT MAN, FOOTBALL WAS RIGHT THERE. FROM SCORING TOUCHDOWNS TO CRYING WITH MY BROTHERS, NOTHING WILL EVER BRING ME JOY LIKE BEING ON THIS FIELD. THANK YOU FOOTBALL, TRULY. IT FEELS FAKE POSTING THIS. THE AMOUNT OF TEARS, AND URGE TO NOT POST THIS, IS INSANE BUT ITS LIFE EVERYTHING COMES TO A END. IF I COULD I WOULD GO BACK SO I THAT COULD RELIVE THIS LIFE. BUT UNFORTUNATELY THATS NOT HOW LIFE WORKS. SO PLEASE TAKE EVERY PLAY, PRACTICE, AND SNAP AS UR LAST BECAUSE WHEN THAT FINAL WHISTLE BLOWS YOU’RE GONNA REALIZE ITS GONE AND YOU’RE GONNA MISS IT LIKE I WILL.
