I wear a lot of different hats—mama, wife, mechanic, small business owner, creator, foodie, coffee lover… and everything in between. 😂

Some days are tougher than others. Some days are just HARD. But no matter what, I show up.

And through every version of me, every hat I wear, one thing will never change: I will always be his voice. ♾️

I’ll advocate. I’ll fight for inclusion. I’ll make sure he is seen, heard and understood.

And sometimes, in the middle of doing all the things, I have to remind myself too…

I guess it’s time I share my why. 💚

In 2025, life hit me from every direction. My son was hospitalized for almost two months and there were moments I was terrified I was going to lose him. At the same time, I had a big scare with my mom, and I was diagnosed with another autoimmune disease. I became very sick, lost a lot of weight, and fell into a depression.

I didn’t really talk about it. I just started withdrawing and somewhere along the way, I stopped feeling like myself.

Eddie started getting me out of the house. Most of the time that meant FOOD 😂. Those little outings became something I looked forward to and a chance to just be Ada for a little while.

My sister-in-law kept telling us, “You guys are always out eating, you should make content!” She even helped us with name ideas. 😂

Then I went to a networking event for Ed’s Mobile Mechanic and hosted by @sandyceo & @_tonydeleon . @_tonydeleon said something that stuck with me:

“Share your why.”

I went there to network for @edmobilemechanic and somehow came out a foodie. 😂

I started posting, meeting vendors and small business owners, hearing their stories and building genuine friendships.

And somewhere along the way, I found a community I didn’t even know I needed.

I thought I was showing up to support their businesses, but they don’t realize how much they’ve given me in return.

When I’m out creating, meeting vendors and sharing their businesses, I feel useful. I feel like Ada — not just Mom or wife. Just me. 💚

Food has nurtured me in more ways than one.

And somewhere along the way, I found myself again.

So Tony… I think I finally found my why. 💚

From making videos with her to coming back for the quesadillas, Red Bull refreshers, and dirty sodas 😂 every visit to BreeSky’s is always such a good time. The food is amazing, but what makes supporting her even more special is the person behind the business. 💕

She’s a young entrepreneur, business owner, content creator, autism mom, and someone who continues to give back to her community. But beyond all of that, she’s just a genuinely great person with such a big heart. 🫶🏼 She inspires me with how much she does and how much love she pours into the people around her.

This time I tried the chicharrón prensado quesadilla and of course it did not disappoint. 🤤

Please go follow her, support her business, and keep showing her love. She truly deserves it. 💗

From one event to the next, our group is getting bigger and stronger ♥️ had an amazing time last night and enjoyed hanging out with our group!

One of my favorite parts about going to pop-ups is finding small businesses I probably wouldn’t have come across otherwise 🫶🍍

I came across @lorenzanakoolpineapple and their setup immediately caught my attention. They had different pineapple flavors, beef jerky, and so many goodies to check out. I brought some pineapple home and let’s just say… it didn’t last very long 😂

I love getting to meet the people behind these small businesses and finding something new to share with you guys. And this is definitely one I’m going back to, next time I’m getting more beef jerky and trying some of the other pineapple flavors too 👀🔥

If you see Lorenza Kool Pineapple at a pop-up, stop by and show them some love 🫶

The Hamburguesa Monster definitely lived up to its name 😮‍💨🍔🔥

Layers on layers and basically the size of my face 😂 I’m glad I finally caught @dogos.la.h at the Boo Bash because they had been on my list for a minute.

They also have hot dogs, and they make their own bread for them 👀🌭 so now I already know what I need to try next.

And judging by that last picture… I was pretty happy with my decision 🤣

Found these burritos con tortillas hechas a mano 🌯🤌🏼

Stopped by @solo.burritos in Sun Valley and we grabbed a few to try chile relleno, papas con chorizo, huevo con chorizo and bistec ranchero.

I went straight for the chile relleno and yeahhh… that one was GOOD 👀🔥

They’re out Wednesday , Thursdays & Fridays starting at 6:30AM until they sell out, on the corner of Laurel Canyon & Peoria in Sun Valley.

You can also order ahead so you don’t miss out.

One of our little neighborhood go-tos

We come here pretty often because they’re right by us on Victory & Vineland by Target. Fresh pupusas made while you wait, curtido, salsa/ spicy salsa … so good. 😋

You can also call ahead and place your order for pickup, which makes it even easier.

Sometimes the best spots are the ones right around the corner. ❤️

Almost 2 years ago, this meal wouldn’t have happened.
Eating disorders suck. They take so much from you and your family in ways people don’t always see.

But here we are. Steak, sweet potatoes, broccoli… a whole meal I once could only hope for.

I’ve been crying all morning, not from sadness, but from pure excitement and joy. 🥹 And if you’re walking through an eating disorder with someone you love, please know you’re not alone. I know how heavy, scary, and exhausting this road can be. Celebrate the little wins, because sometimes those “little” wins are actually huge. ❤️‍🩹
