AYÉYA was born out of a desire to preserve African traditions and honor our rich and beautiful cultural heritage, and specifically to empower local women and communities by respecting and celebrating their generational knowledge.

Our deep ties to West African communities, combined with the over 20 years of experience of our CEO, @olowondjo, who has dedicated his entire life to improving the conditions in his homeland, allows us to not only provide meaningful employment while adding value to the local economy, but also to have the deepest respect and desire to honor the culture and traditions that we so proudly seek to preserve and showcase to the world.

That's why at AYÉYA, we warmly welcome and value the interest of those around the world who are attracted by our culture, its importance and need for diversity and inclusion in today's world.

We invite everyone around the world to experience our traditions and join us in our mission to promote, preserve and empower Africa's culture and communities.

This Black History Month, we honor more than the past. Black history lives in every cooperative we partner with, every woman we support, and every product made with purpose.

Thank you for being part of a living legacy, this month and every month.

Dr. King believed freedom is bound together. At AYÉYA’, our work is built on that same truth: partnering with communities, honoring dignity, and choosing the long road toward justice and shared prosperity. by @ayeyainc
