It was all improvised. I often improvise in my songs, just closing my eyes and going with the flow of melodies and sounds that come out. Sometimes I even surprise myself because at that moment it feels like I become some kind of transmitter, and pure energy of sound and vibrations flows through me. I love these kinds of teleportations and want to trust these flows more, letting myself go, because it’s very powerful, epic, and beautiful. (That’s why each of my concerts is quite unique 😃)

Especially with the completely new sound, because @somekindofjul is nailing it on the drums.

My concerts have always been about connection, intimacy, love and creating a safe space.

But the Land Into My Arms release concert was honestly one of the most beautiful concerts of my life.

Sometimes I have so many doubts in my head. I question myself, my music, where all of this is going. And then there are moments like this, when all of those thoughts just disappear for a while.

From the very first song to the very last, I felt like we were all on the same wavelength. I saw so many beautiful faces, so much happiness, tears, laughter, and so many different emotions in the room.

And this time, I got to hug most of the people who came. That felt incredibly special to me.

It was more than just a concert. It was a healing moment. A little reminder of why I do this in the first place.

Thank you for being there, for feeling it with me, and for letting me create this space with you. 🖤

LAND INTO MY ARMS, my new single from my upcoming debut album, is OUT NOW. 🖤

Please listen, stream it, save it, add it to your playlists, and share it with someone you love. Your support means more to me than ever right now.

This is a song about learning how to become a safe space for yourself and for another person.

And I want to be honest with you. Recording this song was difficult for me.

For most of my life, I never really knew how to be a safe space for myself. What helped me was experiencing what a truly safe relationship can feel like.

Pati taught me so much about self-empathy, compassion, being gentle with myself, allowing myself to be emotional, not being afraid, and simply being there for another person.

Through our relationship, I slowly learned how to talk to myself differently. With more kindness. With more patience. With more love.

The lyrics, as always, were written by Pati, because I honestly don’t think anyone could have described this feeling better than she did.

And there is another very special layer to this song: the opera part.

Opera was something I had avoided in my own music for years. My relationship with opera had always been complicated and, in many ways, toxic.

But this song became a healing process for me. Not only in learning what a safe space can be, but also in reconnecting with parts of myself and my past that I had been trying to leave behind.

I will tell you more about that story later.

For the first time in a long while, I’m bringing us all together.

On September 12th, I invite you to LAND INTO MY ARMS, a very special evening where I’ll introduce you to a new era of my music.

This year has been a journey of transformation. I’ve been slowly rebuilding my sound, exploring new directions, and creating a world that feels truly mine. Now I’m ready to share it with you for the first time.

In these uncertain times, it feels more important than ever to gather our community, to hold each other through art, voice, and touch.

This evening is not only about celebrating the release of my new single. It’s about celebrating life and each other.

I will also share new songs from my upcoming album YOU and I that nobody has heard before. The show will feature live drums with @somekindofjul and special little things created especially for this night.

AYGYUL is a Vienna-based singer, songwriter, and music producer. One of the most compelling live performers in her scene, with over 500 stage appearances including Vienna Pride, Frequency Festival, Waves, and CSD München. Classically trained as an opera singer, she left that path to build her own sound, becoming one of the top beatboxers in the world and crafting a genre she calls Electronic Post-Pop. In 2015, she performed at the opening ceremony of FINA World Championships, broadcast live to 198 countries.

Beyond artist management, Laura plays an active role in Matches Publishing, overseeing the development and promotion of artists such as Lukas Oscar and Skofi.

Geri Hollerer has already held many positions in the music industry. He worked as a booking assistant and head of marketing for the Frequency and Nova Rock Festival, was music editor at Radio FM4, and currently supports the Viennese indie label Las Vegas Records with booking and promo. Alongside this, he is a city guide specialized on pop music history in Vienna and co-hosts the podcast “Wödscheim” for The Message Magazine with Daniel Shaked and Simon Nowak.

Song "Stay" is OUT. My kink: I love turning my experience, my life into sound, where I’m one hundred percent myself.

I grew up in a conservative environment. I was always such a good, I’d even say perfect and convenient, child. I sang opera, wore what I was told, followed the plans I was given, always said what people wanted to hear, never said no. Even in situations where I could have been in danger. And there was no way to say out loud who I was and what I wanted.

And then I realized I couldn’t do it anymore. With the person I loved, I started coming back to myself. It was a safe space. Then in music (that was terrifyingly hard). Then on stage. Then in my body. And then in life, in my position, in my values, I started getting louder. And all these colors of myself I keep rediscovering and giving to you.

One of my colors unfolds in my song “Stay”, one of the lead singles from my upcoming album. It’s about surrendering to the desire to be torn apart by love. Not resisting passion, even as you understand how much it controls you, how vulnerable you are. That moment when you’re literally paralyzed by feeling and everything inside you is exploding at the same time.
