HEAVY HEART is an emotional micro short film about the silent pressure carried by many immigrants living abroad.

Tunde sits alone in his car, preparing himself for another day of warehouse work, when a voice message arrives from his wife back home in Nigeria. What begins as a simple request for help quickly reveals the painful reality his family is facing — no food in the house, unpaid school fees, rent problems, and children who cannot understand why their father is in the UK but they are still struggling.

On the other side of the message is a man fighting battles of his own.

With no words to say, Tunde simply listens. The weight of responsibility, distance, expectations and helplessness becomes too much to hide. But when the message ends, life does not stop. He wipes his tears, puts on his high-vis jacket and goes to work.

HEAVY HEART is a quiet story about sacrifice, immigration, family responsibility and the emotional burden of being the person everyone believes will make everything alright.

Sometimes, the strongest people are carrying the heaviest hearts.
