I’d call this one « light on light » for very obvious reasons 🍯

I was on a walk and didn’t have the ultimate gear on me to have this taken perfectly, but my 7IV and 24/70 made it possible 🙌🏻 And hey that’s what’s beautiful, trying your best to capture a fleeting moment and paint the poetry of instant beauty 💌

Il y a quelque temps, Véronique m'a contactée pour prendre des portraits 📸

Très naturelle et humaine, elle souhaitait des clichés qui lui ressemblent, mais n'était pas super à l'aise à l'idée de poser devant l'objectif (challenge accepted 💪 !).

Je lui ai alors proposé de venir poser chez @mimi.mosaa (ma petite adresse favorite maintenant ! Et avec sa gentille autorisation ofc 🌷).

Ce jour-là, j'ai fait une merveilleuse et lumineuse rencontre 💌 Une femme extrêmement douce et solaire.

Merci à nouveau pour ta confiance, et merci à Mimi de m'avoir offert ce magnifique cadre le temps d'une séance 🫶

(Vous savez maintenant à quel point j'aime les sourires, je ne me cache plus ahah).

A place where I could have stayed for hours if I could 🤍 ~ Le Jardin d’Hiver of the Jacquemart André Museum. A corner suspended in Time with so many details. It felt particularly delicious to stop and catch as much details as I could 🤭🎞️

The Musée Jacquemart-André was once the private home of Édouard André and Nélie Jacquemart, a couple who spent their lives collecting art together 🖼️💌

Today, their 19th-century mansion is still filled with the paintings, furniture and objects they gathered throughout time ~

So visiting it feels a little different from visiting a museum.. 💫

You’re walking through someone’s home, surrounded by their taste,

their curiosities, and the things they chose to keep close.

And honestly, I think that’s what makes it so beautiful to photograph 🎞️✨

The rooms, the details, the light coming through the windows… and two people simply sharing a quiet moment in the middle of it all.

Just a little reminder that…

The setting becomes

A fleeting moment of light, dancing between branches and shadows ~

There sure is something profound in having a word for something so easily overlooked. It invites us to slow down, to notice, and to marvel at the small wonders nature gives us without asking for anything in return…

Like Water Lilies,
we can draw upon the depth of what holds us, of what once was, of the remnants left behind by memories.

They take root in the depths of their pond,
where debris, remains, waste, and decay reside.

And from there, they propel their yearning toward the light,
turning themselves toward the Sun.

Eventually, they open themselves to it,
savoring the delicacy of its warmth.
They welcome its rays into their very being,
and carefully hold on to its treasure.
