I almost didn’t share this.

I write a lot of things like this, but I usually keep them to myself. Maybe because my little corner here is so full of light, magic, forests and all the beautiful things I find in this life. But there are darker places in me too. And lately I’ve been thinking that maybe they deserve a little space here as well.
This came out of me on a day when I felt completely uninspired. I didn’t try to make it hopeful or turn it into some beautiful lesson.

It was just what I felt knowing summer is ending.

So I’m leaving it here. 🖤

I never really have pictures with my son. I’m always the one taking them but these are the pictures he will have when he’s older and maybe tell his own children about his mother who taught him about forests, nature spirits or fairies. A little glimpse into the days when he was small, when his hand still fit perfectly into mine, when our world was made of little adventures and soo much magic ✨

I have always been guided by my heart.
I’ve always felt it was bigger than anything my mind could fully comprehend. It has brought me the deepest joy and the kind of love that makes you feel completely alive but it has also led me through some of the deepest pain I’ve ever known. I thought following my heart meant following happiness. Now I know it differently. The path of the heart has taken me through darkness, endings, grief, surrender and transformation. It has broken me open in places I didn’t know could break. And through all of it I experienced something deeper than happiness. A love that feels divine. A love that keeps bringing me back to myself.
My heart has become my compass for truth like a thread connecting me to my higher self, to the divine and to the part of me that always knows the way.

I took myself on a walk to the forest today and finally felt like I didn’t need to rush. The quiet felt like a warm hand on my shoulders, holding me, guiding me. The air was warm, the birds were singing their songs, it felt like they were singing just for me. No cars. No noise. Just the trees, the wind, the birds and my own heartbeat. Oh how I wish you could have seen me simile. There is something about being surrounded by nature that reminds me how little I actually need to feel full. Just a little sunlight. A little silence. And somewhere wild enough to let my soul breathe. 🧚‍♀️✨
