Super decadent chocolate tart ♥️ Buttery crumbly crust and deliciously smooth and intense chocolate ganache filling 😍 decorated mine with gold leaf ♥️ recipe followed by @marthastewart .
.
.
.
.
Recipe:
In a food processor add 3 tbsp ground almonds , 1 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour and 6 tbsp sugar. Add 6 tbsp cold salted butter cubed in the food processor with the pulse option until the mixture is formed into crumbs. Put the crumbs in your baking tin with a loose base and flatten. Make sure to cover the sides as well. Bake in a preheated oven 180 degrees for 25-30 mins or until golden. Let it cool completely for about 1 hour. To make the ganache melt together 350grams good quality bitter sweet chocolate with 1 and a 1/4 cup cream. Once melted add 1 tsp vanilla. Let cool a bit then pour in your cooled tart shell. I refrigerated mine overnight to set it completely. Then decorated and took it out from the tin. You can decorate with a dusting of cocoa or icing sugar, nuts, candies or any fruit even. Salted Caramel Sauce Recipe 👇🏻

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
6 tbsp butter
½–⅔ cup tetra pack cream
⅛ tsp flaky sea salt (Or adjust to taste)

Method:

Melt your sugar in a heavy bottom pan on a medium high heat. Make sure you only swirl the pan to melt and not use a utensil at this point. When it turns deep amber colour and the sugar is fully melted, add your butter and whisk. Remove from heat and add cream. Make sure to keep whisking. Add salt and let cool. You can adjust the cream depending upon use. Thinner for coffee and thicker for toppings.
The caramel will thicken as it cools.
Enjoy!
