Today…. A mix of different emotions..

But still, I can still say God is Good.

Mum would have been 73 today… hits differently when you don’t get to make that phone call to say happy birthday, send that long birthday text, hear her say ‘esé, mo dúpé -thank you, I’m grateful) and then she tries to return the gift you’ve given her, ‘cos she thinks it’s too much…

The thing is… we were planning to celebrate and honour her on this day with a ‘This is your life evening’… showcasing her legacy, life’s work, her mothering, mentoring and the gift that she’s been…

We were also going to have moments of performing some of her mainstream songs…over the years..

I guess Heaven’s doing that much better for us all…

We’ll still do it..

But at this moment, it’s simply…

Happy Birthday Mum…

Love you eternally ♥️

Miss you daily and dearly 🤍😢

I’ll continue to make you proud. Always.

What a Life. What a Gift. What a Legacy. ✨✨

An empty hall, that’s all it was. Just walls, just seats, just equipment. But those who understand the ways of God know that some of the most powerful moments in history often begin in places that once looked ordinary.

As we prepared for Koinonia SOR UK 2026, I stood back for a moment and watched: people carrying equipment, teams troubleshooting problems, volunteers moving tirelessly from one task to another, conversations, corrections, adjustments, prayers whispered under tired breaths, etc.

Indeed, it is true what Apostle Joshua Selman said, “Only revived men can revive territories, and only transformed men can transform territories.” The revival did not begin when the auditorium became full; it began when people chose to serve when nobody was watching.

Before there is glory, there is preparation. Before there is impact, there is sacrifice. Before there are testimonies, there are people hidden behind the scenes pouring out their strength so that others can encounter God.

Many will never see the weight that built this atmosphere. Many will never know the sacrifices that made these moments possible. But every act of service became part of a larger story that God was writing.

This wasn’t just event setup. This was faith expressed through service. This was people giving their time, energy, expertise, and hearts for something greater than themselves. A labour of love, a sacrifice of obedience, a testimony of what becomes possible when ordinary people offer their “yes” to an extraordinary God.

And as every screen came alive, every camera found its position, and every detail fell into place, one thought echoed within me: God is about to do something remarkable. Because whenever men diligently prepare a place for Him, He never fails to fill it with His presence.

Koinonia SOR UK 2026 was more than a conference. It was a testament to what happens when a generation aligns itself with God’s agenda.

And what a privilege it was; not only to witness the unfolding of a vision from the ground up, but to lead alongside a team of selfless, passionate people whose service helped create an atmosphere for thousands to encounter Jesus. taken in M&S Bank Arena Liverpool by @ayobamisoetan
