Birthdays always make me pause and take inventory. The river running through Watkins Glen has spent thousands of years carving its way through solid rock. Not because it was powerful all at once, but because it never stopped moving. I think there’s something in that worth remembering.

The things I worried about a year ago aren’t the same things I worry about today. Some dreams came true. Some plans changed. Some lessons took longer to learn than I would have liked. 🙃…

But if this year taught me anything, it’s that happiness is usually hiding in plain sight: a new place worth exploring, people worth loving, and moments worth remembering.

Thank you 🫶🏼 @stasmusiclive for an incredible surprise and for capturing these moments along the way. ❤️

New Zealand…Cheers to you.
Some places you visit.
Others stay with you.

•Milford, Dusky and Doubtful sounds • cascading waterfalls with undeniably epic panoramic views at every turn.
•Dunedin•
World’s steepest street.
Botanical gardens.
•Lyttleton•
Christchurch b-bop to over road high country exploring to unhinged jet boat ride.
•Picton•
Toasties & epic espressos
•Tauranga•
Hiked to Omanawana Falls with guest star appearances from albino deer & alpacas.
Fish & chips followed by Hokey Pokey ice cream at the base of Mount Maunganui.
•Auckland•
Skytower 360 degree walk (because they wouldn’t let me jump 😒🤣)
Climbed Mt. Eden (extinct volcano) summit for city views.
Long Beach bay served seashells, shooting stars and the best green lipped mussels I’ve ever had.

This trip was equal parts wild & grounding, the perfect mix. 🤘🏼❤️ taken in New Zealand by @ayostine

Australia, you’ve been a proper little plot twist.

Eden: killer whale museum, waterfall chasing, and tea in a teacup that looked like the Mad Hatter served it.

Tasmania: little penguins at the observatory, Fern Glade magic, no platypus sightings… but a pademelon literally hopped into the storyline, so I’ll allow it.

Melbourne: coffee and brekkie on Degraves Street, a stroll through the Royal Gardens, dumplings in Chinatown, celebrated art on Hosier Ln and a casual 11.7 miles walked through the city because apparently I don’t believe in sitting down.

Different stops, different energy, all unforgettable. 🇦🇺

Sydney said “g’day” and didn’t muck around.

✔ Walked the Coogee → Bondi Beach coastal trail 🥾
✔ Fed kangaroos 🦘
✔ Met a koala named Johnny who had zero interest in personal space 🐨
✔ Climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge
✔ Got up close and personal with the Opera House

Somewhere between the ocean cliffs and kangaroos hopping around, I think Sydney might be showing off a little. Jet lag tried, but didn’t stand a chance. 🇦🇺
